  1. I'm just about done working on the sign for my game room. The outer circle is 54" across so it's rather large. I still have to paint it and put it all together, but it's getting close. I'll have to try a couple different colors and see which one looks best with a blacklight. Not sure what to paint the back that I made out of some old paneling. Any ideas/helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Jeff
  2. I'm not positive but I think if you push the circle button he drops straight down.
  3. 1. Star Wars (1983) 2. Crystal Castles (1983) 3. John Elway's Team Quarterback (1988) EDITED TO ADD YEARS
  4. I'll give it a try next time I'm on liveinabin. I found out that you can search for creators much easier now by using the @ symbol. As an example, you can do a text search using @jedi_jeff to find my levels. It works quite well. Jeff
  5. I'm currently playing LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2 and Rock Band 2.
  6. They updated the search options so now when you go down to Community in the main menu, search appears to the right. Click on that and it will give you a list of ways to search. You can use text search to find levels by name or by their creator. The problem is it will give you everything that is even close to the spelling you use. I find it rather annoying and wish they would change it or at least give an option for exact spelling matches only. Probably the easiest way to find my levels is to search for my psn i.d. : jedi_jeff. All 3 levels are located on the USA part of the map. When I tried it, they came up on pages 3 and 4 of the list. Let me know if you have any problems finding them.
  7. If anyone here is playing LittleBigPlanet and looking for some new community levels to play I have a few for you to try. I put quite a lot of time into each one and tried to make sure they wouldn't 'break' like so many other levels I have played. I hope you have fun trying them! My PSN i.d. is Jedi_Jeff. Now on to the list. Last Train From Little Big City : Find the treasure map on the water tower during your ride on the train to begin an epic adventure to find the hidden treasure. This level has some platforming elements along with a few puzzles. Don't forget to use the pictures you collect under switch triggers in your pop-it menu. All the train cars and a piece of track are your reward for finding the treasure. Sac-Man : This is my version of a Pac-Man type level where you only have 1 life. It even has power pellets so you can eliminate the ghosts. Mission Possible : Anyone that has played Impossible Mission on the Atari 7800 or some other platform will recognize this level. My version is MUCH easier and yes, it is possible to finish it as the title implies. It's a challenging level but I think the ending makes your perseverence worthwhile. Several areas have multiple paths and there are even a few hidden prizes to find, including lift platforms, boats and the helicopter. As always, comments and questions are welcome. Thanks for your interest. Jeff Btw, if anyone else has some levels they would like people to try, please list them here. I'll be sure and give them a spin.
  8. Sean, I never heard back from you last time you had surgery. Let me know if you still want the magazines. Price is always negotiable. Jeff
  9. Blast Factor, Calling All Cars and High Velocity Bowling are pretty good also.
  10. I have been waiting for this version for a long time. Will there be any exchanges of IM carts?
  11. I did a lot better at finding treasures the second time through. I still need to find one more, which really sucks.
  12. I'm not sure what types of games you enjoy, but I would highly recommend The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Rock Band. After those I would say Uncharted and Call of Duty 4 are also worth looking at. If you have broadband internet I would also recommend High Velocity Bowling, Calling All Cars and Blast Factor which are available at the Playstation Store.
  13. That's a pretty silly statement imho. You can tell the difference from 720p resolution tv's on up. Besides, why not buy a player now and get all your favorite movies in HD when the are released instead of buying them in regular dvd. You'll just wish you had the HD version later on. Prices on HD movies keep going down and with all the sales there have been you can get some great deals.
  14. I tried to make one for Breakout 2000, but it just doesn't work very well. The main problem is the way the game was coded. Any version of breakout that doesn't accept some type of paddle controller input takes away the whole point of the game. If somebody could hack the original code and put a rotary option in there it would be worth making a new controller for it. It might even make the game more fun. Jeff
  15. A couple screenshots on the back would have gone a long way in convincing me it ever existed.
  16. For anyone who is interested, Eye of Judgment for the PS3 is $45 today only, and it qualifies for free super saver shipping. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Judgment-PlaySta...a/dp/B000R3BLAI
  17. Wow, $50 each is insane. I was surprised when the blu-rays at TRU were marked at $24.99. I thought they would be at their list price, which I think is $34.99. At $12.50 a movie they were even cheaper than the regular dvd versions.
  18. Toys R Us stores are having a B1G1 Free sale on some blu-ray movies as well. They are marked at $24.99 each, so $12.50 a movie is a really good deal imho. I picked up Cars, Ratatouille, Meet The Robinsons and Casino Royale. They also have Open Season, Bridge To Terabithia, High School Musical 2 and all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
  19. If they update it with splitscreen play and make it easy to download mods directly to my PS3 then I will definitely buy it.
  20. Small update to the Falcon auction: I was checking over everything and remembered that it has a Seagate 210 MB hard drive and not the standard 80 MB one. Just in case anyone is interested.
  21. I think I have a bunch of old computer magazines somewhere around here. The trick will be finding them.
  22. I was one of those unfortunate people who pre-paid for 2 catboxes that I never saw. Would have been nice to get something for my money, even if it involved a baseball bat.
  23. Guitar Hero 2 had problems with the buttons sticking when it came out. I remember returning it to the store for another one and testing it before I left. It's no surprise that Rock Band has similar problems especially with 3 new peripherals. It took a while to get my replacement guitar but I think it is infinitely better than anything Guitar Hero has. No more of that incredibly loud clicking with every strum is worth it by itself. The drums are a lot of fun. Even the singing is forgiving on easy. Nice variety of downloadable songs. If only they had real band videos it would be just about perfect. Best party game in a long time imho. BTW, Activision can go screw themselves for wanting to get paid to allow rock band to use their crap guitars. I have no problem waiting a little while to get another rock band guitar when they are sold seperately.
  24. I finally decided to sell my Atari Falcon 030 computer. I just don't have the time or space to get much use out of it. Here is the link for anyone interested in it: http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-Falcon-030-compu...1QQcmdZViewItem Thanks for looking.
