Al,
When I went to test a Crash n' Score track I made, it played as a Tag game, and when I saved it as a Tag game, it played like a Crash n' Score game. Has anyone else had this problem, or is my pc being annoying?
Jeff
Some of you probably remember Gary Kitchen's gamemaker on the C64. Too bad there wasn't a similar program that would make it easier to create games for the 2600,5200 and esp. 7800.
I can dream can't I?

One of the PS games I really liked that wasn't popular was Reboot. Probably a good thing they never made a sequel. It would have stunk just as bad as the show did after Enzo 'grew up.'

Some of the arcade controllers that I think are great (and make playing the mame versions suck!) are:
Marble Madness - that trackball gives you total control
Star Wars - best controller ever!!!!!!
Quarterback - You get to throw the football where YOU want, not where the stupid computer wants!
Tempest - as fast or slow as you want it to go.

I remember Al stating they would try to have them ready for PhillyClassic, so it might be a while before we see an update on the contest page. I'm sure they are spending a lot of time trying to get them done. We'll just have to be patient.

I have been trying to find some more information about Atari's Game Room located in their old corporate headquarters. So far, all I have found is the following 2 pages: http://www.atarimuseum.com/articles/atarigameroom.html and http://www.multigame.com/atari.html .
I am mostly looking for pictures of the gameroom itself. If anyone could tell me where any others are located, either on the web or in some publication, I would really appreciate it!

Back in the day, M Network Football was the best. We even had a league where we kept stats for each game. I was the master of the juke.
Realsports Football was ok but I thought Atari's Super Football was right up there with M-network's. It's been a long time since I played them though.

The top 2 flippers on the prototype are in different spots, the middle plastic is different and the cabinet is white. That's all I noticed so far.

Saturday I went to Michigan and picked up a bunch of Atari Pinball machines and parts for $300 (plus $100 for gas .) Two Middle Earths (one is a prototype), three Space Riders and some misc. parts. Some of the backglasses were in great shape too.
If someone finds any parts for these or any other Atari pins, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

If I remember right, finding the sword at the beginning is an absolute must to get anywhere in Highlander.
I found it to be an interesting game myself. Too bad they never made the sequels.

Here are a few Lynx games that I would recommend:
Awesome Golf
Klax
Chip's Challenge
Xenophobe
Rampart
APB
Super Asteroids/Missile Command
Slimeworld
Electrocop
That should be enough to keep you busy for a while. : )
