    I had the same problem with my 4 switch, It was the power supply. My advice just go up to your local hardware store and pick up a universal power adapter

    I have had the worst luck tracking down a 7800 on ebay with the connections and at least 1 game but finally I got one, 33.00 for the console with 1 controller in the original box with joust. I should be coming in a couple of weeks

    Go to a hardware store and pick up a universal ac/dc adapter it should come with 6 or seven plug attachments and it IS compadable with the atari 2600

    So what do you use? I just got my new switch box in the mail re-designed to fit todays televisions for 6 bucks works great and I dont have to disconnect my cable and at radio shack I payed 5 bucks for the coxial adapter and I have to disconnect my cable and switch off my cable box to switch games.

    All I do is leave the cords pluged in, Put the controllers in the storage bay, and I leave the controller cords on the top of the console then I cover it with my dust cover

    I say we put em in a room, door locked and only put in a t.v, a heavy sixer and a copy of E.T lets see who eats the other one first

    if i do get an atari 400 is it worth my time? or should I get a 800xl

    This is a good place to learn some more: http://www.atariarchives.org/ An 800 would give you more memory. The 400 may be limiting. Or you could go for the 800XL. It has 64K. A 600XL could put you in the same spot as the 400 - the 600XL has only 16K. There's the XE line, too. Actually I seen a 800xl I'll look into that too but what is the best of ataris computers

    does the 400 computer use a GUI? If it uses text only how hard is it to learn?

    Do the cartriges for the atari 400/800 computers work for the 2600 also can a 2600 be used as a home computer? They made a keyboard for it and the cartriges for the 2600 and 400/800 computers look alike

    Ebays great! I bought my 4 switch woody and my brothers vader on there but ask the seller if they have tested it, If the listing says sold as is, be aware that it may not work

    Cleaning the contacts carefully with a cotton bud and rubbing alchol or with a pencil eraser usually does the trick. If not Some others have had some success with resoldering the chip but it's never worked for me. It didnt work

    How do I get my 2600 switches to have that new switch feeling, Mine are sorta sticky
