Depends on how much real estate there is to shovel. If it takes you that long to shovel you might want to get a snow blower. I've been lucky in that my father-in-law keeps finding snow blowers for me. 6 inches would be pretty easy to snow blow. It's the shit when the plow comes through and creates a four foot wall of ice at the end of the driveway that's a real pain in the ass. I hate snow.

I have 150+ yards of driveway plus a a huge turn-around. I just upgrade my snowblower this year to a huge monster. Tosses the snow into the next county!

I remember a snow day when I was in high school, I finished E-Swat on Genesis.  Good times.  Then I got to college, wind chill 70 below zero and they didn't cancel classes.
