  1. I love Never-lander. It's prolly the game I play the most on my TI994/a. I also like Barrage, It's a Missile Command clone.
  2. I live like 30 minutes away from this guy and ordered a cable for my two Sony 20" PVM monitors and it works great with the other SCART system cables. The only one I can't seem to get to work is the Atari ST Scart cable. Buy i've tested it with my Apple IIGS scart cable, SNES / N64, Sega Genesis, Saturn and Commodore Amiga Scart cables. Just make sure if you order one you ask the guy which one you need as he has three different ones up and i'm not sure which one i ordered.
  3. The second game I beat for 2014 is Final Fantasy: All the Bravest. It was definitely a swipe-fest but I don't have the hate most people do for it. Even though it has the Final Fantasy name, it really isn't that great an entry for the series. You play through a series of battles traveling to various locales to do said battles. One thing it does have going for it are the retro graphics and Final Fantasy music. And here is the video showing the defeat of the final boss and end credits, enjoy.
  4. Thought I would mention on here that in two months I've been able to get 100 subscribers. In celebration I am giving two PS2 RPG's away to one lucky winner. All you need to do is be a subscriber to my channel and post in the comments to the below video on what game have you logged the most play time (On Youtube not the Blog Comments). Give me the name of the game and how many hours you've played it. Single player games only. I'll be drawing a name this Sunday (March 2nd).
  5. A couple no one has mentioned. Wizard's Crown / Eternal Dagger. Very Tactical RPGs, but you can do quick combat to speed things up. Deathlord - Ultimaish RPG with an Oriental flavor. HUGE HUGE game and brutally hard. Shard of Spring / Demons Winter. Decent SSI RPGs Realms of Darkness - very obscure SSI RPG. Legacy of Ancients / Legend of Blacksilver - really cool RPGs Wizard's Crown series / Might and Magic series and Phantasie series are my favorites. (Ones I played when I was a teenager)
  6. A-VCS-tec Challenge - love the C64 version and this one is also very fun. Lady Bug - awesome port / conversion Juno First - this game is amazing Halo 2600 - well because it's Halo
  7. WTF really? wow. And it's at 150.00 with 5 days left unbelievable.
  8. Update. I've started adding collection videos.
  9. Anyone else have an opinion on it? My opinion would be original hardware since I thought it used actual Gameboy hardware in the player and as far as the the controller, I would think it would be like using an after marker controller on a NES or SNES. I would like to get a final answer on this so I can start playing some GB / GBC / GBA games and actually record some high score videos. I'll go with what the majority feels is appropriate.
  10. Got a question for everyone. Would you consider playing a GB / GBA game on the Gameboy player via the Gamecube original or emulated?
  11. LEGEND OF THE RED DRAGON (LORD) After 20+ years of playing LORD, I have finally defeated the Red Dragon. If you don't know what LORD is don't worry it resides in a time long forgotten on a strange contraction call a BBS (Bulletin Board System). Before the internet us geeks communicated, congregrated on BBSes. One of the favorite all time BBS doors was Legend of the Red Dragon. It's a text adventure / role-playing game of sorts where you go out into the forest to kill creatures, to gain experience and then come back to town to train and gain levels. You could do all types of the things in the game, flirt with the local barmaid and even attack other player characters. If feels pretty good to have finally beaten the game. Here is a typical play session video I created. Also here is the final fight with the Red Dragon and end credit of sorts.
  12. Was at a friend's house in 87-88 and they had an AT&T XT machine. They had Ancient Art of War that we played.
  13. World Karate Championship for the Atari 8-bit computers. Back in the day I remember clearing all scenes and getting back to the first one and getting 95k+ as a score. Now I can't even get off the second screen. Sigh... still love the game though....
  14. Yeah I kind of had the same problem. I've had my ultra satan drive for a while and still don't have it properly setup yet. I normally can figure these things out but for some reason this one stumped me. Mega ST4 (1.02 TOS)
  15. I thought I would never do it but I've gone and done it. I've posted my first pickups video. Last week I ordered a Blue Snowball Mic from Amazon and it came in on Friday. Mustering my nerve I went and created a video where I actually show myself and talk. I was nervous as hell at first but once I got a few minutes in, it got easier. You can watch it here:
  16. For me I post my scores on Serious' website. I like the social aspect the most but also use it as a place to contain all my scores. I no longer need an Excel spreadsheet to keep them. I also love the achievements you get and your total score showing how many games you actually have played.
  17. Welp last year I was only able to beat 7 games. Pretty piss poor I must say, but we'll see how 2014 treats me. Also last week I started my very own You Tube channel. One of my goals is to try and get 50 subscribers. We'll see how it goes. Link to Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrf2z9JwtfrEeqJYxFv-BvQ If link doesn't work, search Classic Contagious Gaming
  18. Just got my Christmas gifts video up:

  19. Finally got my Youtube channel up and running. Just need some channel art and an avatar pic and i'll be set https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrf2z9JwtfrEeqJYxFv-BvQ

  20. Yep I posted a video of me playing for about 20 minutes on my Youtube Channel. This weekend I'll probably take another crack at it and hopefully check out the player housing. I believe it was said there should be chests that contain various furniture you can place inside the homes. http://youtu.be/xzsEYqdSPfc
  21. My video of Playing Shrouds of the Avatar Alpha Release 1: http://youtu.be/xzsEYqdSPfc

  22. I'm helping Serious re-categorize some of his Atari 2600 games on his High Score site. I've been going through games and trying to figure out which ones aren't affected by difficulty switches by reading the manuals on this site. Here are a few that it wasn't mentioned if they were affected. Could someone let me know if they are affected by the switches? I'll post more as I find them.
