  1. Damn straight, she still is a beautiful woman.
  2. Welp early release version came out yesterday on Steam. Yes it has the ugly Uplay attached to it but I've really enjoyed the few minutes I've played so far. Also looks like a 2014 release. Also no free movement all grid based which is fine for me as i loved MM3-5.
  3. Damn Straight. My first real computer that had a disk drive was an Atari 8-bit and after it was no longer supported I got a Commodore 64. Man the memories i have with those.
  4. dammit man i can see what i'll be getting for Christmas now if they are still in stock.
  5. Yep I backed the Kickstarter for the Collectors Edition and a few months ago when i was out a week with my tonsil removal i played it a few days. Was very enjoyable. Also be very careful when playing Titan Quest. There is an issue if your machine reboots while the game is running, it will remove your characters and it can be a pain to get them back.
  6. Sure, the first post has one of the better term programs. Download it for the OS you use. If you have Windows just click on win32. Unzip program into a directory and i would store it somewhere on your hard drive and create shortcut for Syncterm.exe. Once you launch it, hit the Insert key to add a new BBS. Enter the name such as Door Games Unlimited. Choose either Telnet, Rlogin or SSH ( i would suggest Telnet) For Address enter: dgu.dyndns.org Then hit enter on the entry you created to connect. Once you see logon screen, just type NEW and enter the information that comes up and your in. at the main menu hit X to list all the door games i have installed (currently 321 doors installed). Thanks Cncfreak
  7. My BBS has been up for almost a month now and i've been averaging 4-5 calls a day. Not too bad for a start-up Telnet BBS. I thought I'd post a few pics of some of my screens.
  8. If you've seen my collection pictures you know i framed a few Ultima maps and now i would love to get Might and Magic I & II done as well. Because these are paper maps I would love to get them transferred to some type of fabric as I think it would look much better. I've seen Walgreens offer a photo canvas service as well as companies doing screen printing. Anyone have any input on this? I honestly have never delved into either of these and don't know what I'm getting myself into. Also will there be an issue with copyrighted material as well?
  9. Here's my take on this situation and if the issue isn't resolved: This generation of systems (PS3 / 360) I have around 150 Xbox 360 games & around 20 PS3 games. I decided I would only get games on the PS3 that are specific to it. Now with the next generation of consoles I'll do the exact same thing. PS4 will be my main system and i'll only get games specific to the Xbox One. I will also wait til the games drop down to 19.99 new then buy them.
  10. Welp as I said I've been off this week because on Monday I had the right tonsil removed. There was a sizable growth on it Thank goodness it turned out not to be cancer but some kind of infection so lots of antibiotics and ice cream for me. Also thank goodness Grim Dawn Alpha came out this week so I've been playing a lot of it. If you have ever played Titan Quest you'll know what type of game it is. Grim Dawn Was a Kickstarter project from some of the guys who created Titan Quest. This has been a labor of love from them and with it's success Grim Dawn will now see the light of day. With this being alpha I'm not sure of any type of NDA so I'm only going to show the title page and give a little info. I purchased the $100 option so once the game is complete, I'll be getting a collectors edition. Here's a few words on me playing this week. I decided to play a soldier as I like up and close characters. One thing i noticed is you just can't run through creatures even with a sword and board. I tried a couple times and got overwhelmed pretty quick and had to retreat to heal up. After 10 seconds or so of non-combat you'll heal completely. I got to level 13 and completed quite a few quests and have been enjoying it a lot.
  11. Anyone know if it will be impossible to find a replacement power supply?
  12. I verified mine also has a 1/8" plug as well. Is the power supply a wall wart or more like a laptop power adapter? Thanks for the information.
  13. Another game bites the dust. This one is call Word Realms. It's a word game where you go on an adventure to defeat the evil Dark Lord who is terrorizing a kingdom. This was a successful Kickstarter project from last year. Here's a quote from there website that wraps it up nicely. "A single-player roleplaying video game where your weapons are words. " You travel around on a map completing quests, clicking on destinations and defeating foes with words. Each area also has a boss. There's also a town where you can upgrade equipment, find quests and gather information. I really enjoyed playing the game but i must say i wasn't expecting the ending at all. I hear there is also an alternate ending as well which i'll prolly go for at some point. I believe i finished it in under 10 hours. Here are a few screenshots from the ending and yes I believe that final shot is what it appears to be: https://imageshack.u...rdrealmend1.png https://imageshack.u...drealmsend2.png https://imageshack.u...drealmsend3.png https://imageshack.u...drealmsend4.png
  14. I recently picked up a Video Key for the Atari ST without a power supply. I found this information on a power supply but i would like someone to verify if this is accurate and also what the polarity is. INPUT : 120V 60Hz 12W OUTPUT: 12VDC 300mA Thanks Cncfreak
  15. hehe we put them on once the painting was done
  16. I did in Lakeland lets see.. Renegade and PowerBBS (Dragonslayer BBS) and Synchronet (Gamemaster / RPG Heaven and now Door Games Unlimited)
  17. Well i finally got Verizon Fios so I'm now able to get my BBS back up and running. My previous internet provider had all the ports locked down and wouldn't open anything up for me so i decided to switch. I'm running Synchronet on an XP machine. I really don't have much files or messages as this will mostly be for playing games. I currently have over 300 different doors up and running. Also i did custom menus based on some of my most favorite classic computer rpgs. They aren't anything special but i always liked when people put a little effort into there bbses and made them look different than the standard screens. I would suggest downloading Sync-term to use as your telnet program. http://syncterm.bbsdev.net/ I called it Door Games Unlimited and here's the url for it. dgu.dyndns.org Thanks Cncfreak
  18. Yeah I'd thought about getting some of the NES game maps done like this one. http://www.nesmaps.com/maps/Zelda/ZeldaOverworldQ1BG.html
  19. Hehe that's the look I was going for. My wife likes them and she's never played or has any interest in playing the games.
