One advantage Nintendo could have brought to the Lynx was its first party titles....arguably still Nintendo's biggest market advantage for 25+ years.
Mario World, Donkey Kong and Zelda titles for the Lynx would have really kicked some serious butt.
I have the following that might interest you, but you might have them all:
- Nintendo Winter 2002 catalog
- Nintendo Summer 2003 catalog
- Version 34 Nintendo GameCube Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc CIB
- CUBE Issue 34 2-discs CIB (PAL)
- CUBE Issue 35 2-discs CIB (PAL)
- Nintendo GameCube Preview DVD - Metroid Prime / Star Fox Adventures / Super Mario Sunshine / etc. (new still in cardboard envelope)
- Nintendo GameCube Preview Disc - Sonic DX / Splinter Cell / Viewtiful Joe / Billy Hatcher / etc / GBA download games Dr. Mario & Wario Ware (CIB but label is damaged)
You can find a lot of these at http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/. This site has only legal downloads of many past games that were shareware, freeware, etc.
It does not run GBA games....it is not backlit either.
When it says "compatible with GBA accessories," it is referring to add-ons like lights that you physically clip onto the external plastic case.
Edit: Ignore everything I said
This is actually a double-whammy for this game..... this game was never properly finished. There are only 9 holes instead of 18 holes, and hole 9 is the same as hole 1.
So if this bug exists on hole 1, then it will show up on hole 9, right?
I don't have this problem with Donkey Kong in MAME except on the rare occasion when I miss a jumping sound and something else is happening at the same time. The MAME version of Donkey Kong seems to "miss" once in a while when there are two sounds happening at once.
It happens very seldom for me.
Bud Melvin...that's it. I actually have that CD he gave away at that show, and I play it whenever I want to annoy my wife. You've got to admit...a banjo accompanied by a GameBoy Color has that certain...."je ne sais quoi."
Wow....I've had some items shipped with crappy packing jobs, but nothing that bad. That has the be the laziest, cheap-ass Seller and packing job I've ever seen. Sorry it had to happen to you Al.
If you use the pro controller on a game that was not written for it, do the XYZ buttons just provide a duplicate set of ABC buttons, or do they perform no functions?
I was very pleased with my quick and easy transaction, and I don't believe the repro's will have the professional packaging and label for the cart. The original 100 carts will be identifiable in the future.
I believe the 360 and Wii have reached their peak and we'll see significant drops in 2010. However, I expect the PS3 to still be as strong or even stronger.
I don't say that lightly...I have a Wii and am generally a huge Nintendo fan.
The PS3 was significantly boosted with its price cut and the introduction of the slimmer model. However, Sony is still losing money on every console sold and it looks like further price cuts may be part of its strategy in the future....which is great for gamers.
Maybe that's why Sony is thinking about charging for online access and trying to find new sources of revenue.
