  1. Purchased "Kitty's Catch" NES game and it arrived quickly and well packaged in a priority mail box. Fast and smooth transaction and very pleased.
  2. H O L YJ A C K P O TB A T M A N ! ! ! There are even downloads for the Apple Newton on that page!
  3. Got mine! Thank you Rygar!!
  4. #21 please or whatever is next up on the list when you do an update.
  5. These are great! I'd love to add the music from Loopz to the collection if anyone knows how to rip it.
  6. That's what I've been waiting for also.
  7. LOL...you should come by my space, The Family Game Room. I should be earning wages for babysitting! But then again, my own boys help me run the exhibition space and they enjoy the gaming friends.
  8. Ms. Pacman is an excellent arcade port for the Lynx, and I'd like to see more arcade ports. I know there are licensing issues, but the basics like Pacman, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Galaxian, a completed Lady Bug, Mappy, would all be great. Maybe go back and touch up the Space Invaders that was done to be more like the arcade.
  9. Looks like a cozy cave to hide away in. I'm jealous. I used to have a place like that at home "BK".....before kids. Once they came along I lost all my personal spaces
  10. I'm not an eBay Seller and based on those charts I don't ever want to be one. Holy cow...you need a frickin' PhD to understand those fee structures.
  11. Very nice! Thanks for the work and sharing. It was only a 1.2 MB file.
  12. That is REALLY interesting...never knew that digital audio was possible. Thanks!
  13. In the GameCube world, there is no difference. The GameCube has two A/V ports (on the original models)....an analog port that supports RCA and S-Video output, and a Digital A/V port that supports component video (you still need to hook up your sound from the other port). Calling it a "Digital A/V Port" is probably misleading.
  14. Why not? If some gadget is working so well for the competition that it has gone from last place to first place with the latest generation of console sales, then a little "me too" marketing can't hurt. It will be interesting to see if motion controllers turn out in the long run just to be a fad or stay around.. There's a strong argument that the gamer becomes more immersed in the game, but I am also a big fan of just sitting back on the couch, being lazy, and only playing games with my thumbs.
  15. I confess to never knowing anything about the CX2000, and I never knew what the CPUWIZ's avatar was. I just did some research and learned a bit about this machine. Good stuff....thanks.
  16. Looks like Songbird still has them brand new for $89.95. If you really want this game new and sealed, that may be your best source before they're gone.
  17. For Breakout 2000?!? Wow....I've got hidden gems everywhere!
  18. I have the digital Component cables for both the Gamecube and the Wii. Guess I never looked at them side by side...I was always quite pleased by the Wii component output with Gamecube games. For using just the Gamecube, the digital AV cables are indeed worth the $60+ street price they are going for. I have one for every Gamecube I own plus some that have died over the years.... over 10.
  19. Works fine on Safari for Windows. This is great! I had many of these games as originals for the Apple II and it's bringing back memories quickly. Thank you for the link.
  20. I've always had problems with all the various ports of Robotron. You need two sticks to both move and shoot, and the D-pad's have never been a good substitute.
  21. That is REALLY cool...thank you for sharing! Too bad after all that engineering they don't have a totally level surface to play it on
  22. My Lynx collection is always taken out for playing and display at the Midwest Gaming Classic, held in Wisconsin during the spring season. I have an area there called the "Family Game Room" and I bring out not only my Lynx items but all my other collections as well. I live in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, so any Chicago-area events I would be interested in. For a couple years, I took my collection to Dan Iacovelli's Video Game Summit event during the summer in Lombard, IL, but lately it has conflicted with my kids and scouts.
  23. I've used the D-cell pack often and it will last all day....over 12 hours. I've never timed how long it will last until it goes dead. However, I never tried it with rechargeable D-cells, but there's no reason it wouldn't work fine. I also own one of the Naki Power Paks, which have rechargeable battery cells built in and they attach to a Lynx II like a Borg appliance. They work for about 6-7 hours but make the Lynx a lot more heavy and bulky. They are good for travelling on long trips.
  24. FreeLoader isn't 100% reliable for playing all U.S. games, but it will do most.
  25. Quote from the auction description: I don't care how hard up you are for 2600 games...you've got to be a fool to buy on an auction with that type of wording included.
