ok the jag with no sound is repaired! it was REG 1

so what info do you need for jag no: 2?

it has a dark grey / black screen with some small vertical moving lines

green led on jag is on and working game inserted, no sound

1: console 1: works fine but no sound! any ideas where i should start to look? (yes TV sound is turned up!)

2: console 2: black screen when switched on with cartridge inserted, power LED ok, so dead board?

i have one of these keyboards as parts, they were fitted to early 520 ST when Atari actually made good quality keyboards!

they have a spring under the key yes? and a plastic mylar instead of a PCB

_{for the 520 ST (no internal floppy drive / external PSU) there is very limited space inside and the Marpet does not fit}

_{i do have a 2mb Frontier upgrade that does fit, all tested and working with manual}

_{so adding that to your 512k will give you 2.5mb}

_{all depends if your 520 will accept the upgrade (as there was a weird MMU chip that didn't work with upgrades)}
