JagCF last news before the before the launch of final proto.
SatNoob replied to GT Turbo's topic in Atari Jaguar
Hehe I guess I'm just dumb. I still don't understand what the actual 'addon' is? Does it allow you play a different consoles games? Does it modify graphics? Allow you to make games? Stream media through the Jaguar onto the TV? -
Maybe those are methane blasts?

Just need a sticker to cover up the ugly now

What's a JagCF? What is in the picture? A modified board from a Jag console? -
Forgive me for the dumb question, but what exactly is a dev system? Is it something say, hmm a complete noob like me could buy and make a game on? Or is it super hard to do. /end dumb question

I enjoyed reading that and I have no idea what any of it means

Look a few posts above where someone already linked me and I've been using it for days.

Yea so far I'm amazed at how much effort/pride the members here and the vendors left out there have for all the Atari products. I was happy to find an active forum for Atari stuff now maybe I'll learn something

Thx for that link I'm reading through them now. I generally appreciate every genre of game. I'm not a big sports game fan, though. I love puzzle/shooter/rpg games. I'm actually blazing through Chip's Challenge right now on the Lynx. I tore the Jag apart to paint the case had a few scuffs I couldn't fix or I'd be playing Cannon Fodder. I ordered Doom/Wolf/Temp. 2000. I like to try to beat most of my games before I collect others, I got into a bad bad habit a few years ago with Dreamcast/N64/GameCube. I was buying up titles left and right and it took me a lonnng time to catch up. It's hard being a video game addict

thx for the link I'm going to nab a few of those.

I never even knew there was a Neo Geo full size console. So I searched on eBay the prices are huuuuge. Now I want one that screen makes me want to get Rayman too

I'd be hesitant to buy one off eBay even if it was cheaper. I'd like it to work the first time and get a new one if possible. I guess I'll consider one sooner than I was planning. I'm happy with the few Jag games I have so far and this will be a large part of my collecting over the next year. I just read over the home brew thread sounds like fun. Still surprised at the Jag's in game physics/feel so far it seems advanced for that long ago. One of my friends just compared my N64 to it.. not a very fair comparison in my opinion. Some people just don't know how to appreciate something for what it really is/was in it's prime which was ahead of the rest. I'm considering one of these: http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/jaguar....Jaguar%20System I'm not certain what the double speed one is for? Is it the same as the new or is it modified? Should I just get the new one, a refurb or the double speed?

Yahzee! Thank you very much. I should have known to bookmark the portal to the site, and not just the forums. Sometimes the information you want most is right there and you miss it.

Well I think I'm going to wait on the CD addon. I was just curious mostly when I saw the CD game forsale on eBay I had no idea the Jaguar had an addon like Genesis/Sega CD had. I'm restoring/detailing a bunch of old consoles and making a game room for them. So after I get the other older Atari consoles like a 2600+ I'll have to add the CD then. I can already see how advanced the Jaguar/Lynx were for their time it's a shame they didn't do better. They just have a different feel to them somehow.

I won't buy from them then. I see how he/they reply to feedback. Someone left a neutral for a $3 item that didn't work, so he/they fire back with a nasty negative. That' not how a seller of that many items should act and definitely not an attitude I care to put up with. I bet if the item went missing or was incorrect it would be impossible to work anything out.

Frog Feast is now on Jaguar Cartridge for sale!
SatNoob replied to Chaos89-dot-com's topic in Atari Jaguar
Is this game similar to the old Frog Bog game on intellivision? -
Does anyone happen to have instructions online for Kasumi Ninja? I like this game I've been playing it for a lot the past few days and I'm doing absolutely horrible it's hard (maybe I'm just a bad player ). I'm wondering if the instructions show how to do any special moves or anything? Has anyone beat this game? Also was wondering if there is anywhere to get the Cannon Fodder instructions. I don't really understand what the menu on the left is for so far ( haven't played it too much yet ). I've gone a couple maps into the game and always blow myself up on some barrels.

Well shoot I was in fact looking at an auction from them. Can I ask what would/could happen if I did buy from them? I'll steer clear I don't need any disappointments I've been hosed by paypal/ebay so many times lately I couldn't take another right now.

I just got a Jaguar and it's just a cartirdge console no CD's. I was checking out an ebay sale and was about to buy a Jaguar game but it's a CD. Is there an addon drive or something for the Jaguar? What am I missing. Sorry I'm sure that sounds dumb.

I'm on my second X360 premium console. The first overheated and got the red lights of death. PRetty disappointed with the console so far, and I found myself playing Gamecube/N64 more than it. Now with a Jaguard and a whole new line of titles to try out from Atari my X360 won't see much play time for a while.

Well I bought a whole bunch of random consoles and games at a flea market a few weeks back. Amongst a bunch of Lynx units I also got a Jaguar. Looks like new and works perfect so far. Came with Zoop!, Cannon Fodder, Skiing & Snowboarding, Kasumi Ninja and Checkered Flag. So far I like Ninja a lot it's much harder than other fighter games I've played recently. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and ask what games you guys recommend and if there is any accessories or modifications I should consider. I'm addicted to this machine already and want to collect the best titles first so I have more to play

I think it would be easier to paint the existing case white. Clear would be neat, but I don't think we'll see the day.

You mean they're all literally physically connected together with solder? They don't look to be at all. I'll grab an ohmeter when I get home and check. I did put solder up on the lip of the long connector, before I believe it was only on the underside. The smaller two legs I simply put them ontop of cold solder then pressed the tip down on the leg tops and melted the solder through the legs and pushed down into it. I'll post a pic if I can't get it to work tonight.
