You know, that SEEMS like a cool SMS pickup, being a late-generation title and all, but $5 seems to be the going price.. I think I sold one mint with instructions not a whole lot ago for even less than that, and I was disappointed.
Now Block Out.. they should have made that a SMS game.. with the cool "cyberspace" dude taunting you and all..

Well, after a pretty grim day of thrifting, I picked up a probably overpriced Philips CDi 220 of unknown working condition with a Digital Video Cartridge and two controllers for $25, an awesome loaded 1996-vintage P1 Win95 PC for $15 (I needed a legacy system badly), a Mac powerbook without power cord for $10, and I found a copy of Atari Video Cube bundled with 5 other games for $3.
I did pick up another 10 nice "black" 40's jazz 78's, which are worth nothing according to eBay but that I still enjoy. Someday someone is going to appreciate these with some dollars.

-
Agreed.. this is an excellent game. If someone people want to cut right to the chase, instead of trying to find it (probably in month of looking) in the wild, more power to 'em.
So now when are Missile Commands going to go for $20, I wonder??

Jeez, couldn't you have Mario strangling Knuckles or something, instead of holding that mushroom? I hate Knuckles!

I'll be happy to hold your Atari gear in safekeeping when you get sued, Kheffington!
You'd better PM me immediately for my shipping address before you get attacked by Route62's lawyers.. everyone knows professionals only start work on Mondays.

What you people are seeing is a professional ad done by professionals.
".. do NOT attempt to try this at home. Repeating, do NOT attempt to try this at home!"
-
Wow, that didn't seem to go for much! I've sold one single loose IV for more than that.
Has the market levelled out for DW games?
-
Do you stand them up by hand on the scanner? I'm just wondering, this is really an outstanding bit of customer service on your part, IMHO!
-
Here is a boxed Tapper I have up for auction on ebay
I like how you do that composite of the box flaps. Are those scans, or do you have a mounted camera?

Um, Zeus, could it possibly that Canada Post sucks?
Don't get me wrong: Canadian buyers are some of the best around. The problem is that I have had so many bad experiences with CP that I'm paranoid about shipping anything valuable, I end up incurring extra costs because I try to "CP Proof" boxed items (= extra ply cardboard box, extra padding).
The thing is, nearly all Canadian buyers/sellers I correspond with agree.

Bump... 7 N64 loose tested N64 carts and hopefully an MIB Mattel Horoscope Computer. The BINS on the upper level games I set at $5 less than what seems to be standard ending price. Thanks for looking!
-
It IS a cool game, eh? I played it on my old XT in college (my first REAL computer, after my Apple) and there was something sublime about hearing that lil' speaker belch when you unloaded a round of automatic fire.

Mmm.. Wasteland.. great game. And I have a couple of nice, fresh EA diskette sleeves to make that picture look much, much better. (You're not going to get any crazy offers with Nashua and Apple sleeves, you know.)
PM me, I'll be happy to sell you two genuine EA sleeves for $50. You'll thank me when your $500 gravy train rolls in!

So when will some of you Atari ST fans decide that you have this kind of money to burn?!!!!
Or will the 16-bit market ever get to this point?
-
This is just a tip of the hat to SteveW, who not only remembered that I had once long ago asked for VIS controllers, but found some months later, and shipped gratis, and is kind enough to be patient until my return check arrives.
SteveW is a class act!

If it's not five bucks, it's not worth it!

Al, if you have any boxed games by either Synapse or Sierra now's probably a good time to list them!
Watch out for peterolafson, elit, & mshortland They've all been bidding high of late. Several titles have sold in the $500+ range recently!
Ah, but then you'll run fully into Rpm's 1st Theory of Selling: Anything you see in the vintage computer market that just sold for $500+ will only sell for $5 when YOU sell it a week later.
-
LOL.. Al, maybe I can use those Ultimas to level my workbench in the basement.
The feedback I've got from an (anonymous) fellow Apple collector (who should know) is that there are three eBay "nutcases" who are apparently racing to complete their Online / Sierra Online collections. Two of which were the #1 and #2 bidder, with one known pretender in this race.
My guy says put any and all Online Apple products on eBay, he is under the impression that all have a pile of money just waiting to be spent.

Wow, I have lots of old Apple II games in a box somewhere. I wonder if original Infocom titles are still fetching a pretty penny (like the Starcross Saucer box, which I saw go for over $1,000 once..)
..Al
Worthless now, Al.. sorry.. there was a real glut of those in the past year, they're common as pigeons. I suppose I could give you a couple bucks for yours, though, just PM me for details.

Bump.. I just knocked $20 off the BIN.. system + 91 games is now a penny under $100.

I dunno.. I sure wish I had one though.
I'm asking around. I know the second high bidder by reputation is prone to paying price-is-no-object prices for items he doesn't have. I can't imagine why the winner paid that much though.
-
So this is where my marketplace posts get moved, eh?
Well, anyway, the boxed 2600 sold, but for you night owls, I just listed a loose vader with 91 unique carts. A little more hopefully tomorrow. Thanks again for looking!
And if you think my BIN is all wet, I'll get ready for your howls of derisive laughter

Well, I actually may have some Atari stuff up on eBay. Nothing special, just making some space to try to get the junk in my garage to join the junk in my basement.
I have a boxed 4-switch atari with Combat up with a $30 immediate payment BIN. This thing is CLEAN, I took everything apart and cleaned it myself (and probably put more than $30 of time into it!)
No cardboard inserts with the box, unfortunately, but this is really a sweet unit. I game tested it with Missle Command and Kaboom, very nice
I also have about 14 boxed Amiga games online right now, and time permitting tonight I'm going to put another BIN auction together for a loose Atari 'Vader with a bunch of common carts.

Who's got an explanation for this?

No kidding! If it stays reasonable *I* may buy it. I sold my last CV setup off to pay a bill and I miss it!
