Found my two in Porter Ranch. Los Angeles California.
All the other Flashbacks for all consoles have been pulled since then.
A Toys R Us here in Vegas had four. Tried buying one and their register flagged it as a 10/1 release only. They then took all four back into the storeroom.

I'd consider that unlikely at this point, but if it changes, I'll let everyone know.
Went to my local Toys R Us and they had four in stock. Went to pay for one and the lady told me they can't sell it to me. Their system flags the release date of 10/1. They came in last week and the four has been sitting in the locked shelf. After I tried to buy one, they took all four back into the stock room.
Oh well......

I'm ready to pick one up at CGE.

Guess I'll give the exacto knife a shot. Hopefully I don't lose any appendages

Didn't think about heating it up. Hopefully it works!
Thanks.
I used a wire cutter to "nibble" away a slot and used a 1" flat file to finish it off. Much safer than using a blade and not as messy as a Dremel.
As other have said, buy it at Stoneagegamer. I bought my SNES Everdrive there on a BO and it came within 2 weeks. For my N64 ED, I went straight to Retrogate.

can't wait! The long days of regret over never buying CC3 when I had the chance will soon be over!
Same here!

A Yurkie AV mod into a late 90's Toshiba 19" or a Commodore 1084 using composite. Tried it on my early 2000s plasma and there is lag.

Hope to see a ebook version coming out. I would like to read behind scenes of what the Tramiels were doing with Atari. I worked at Federated Group in SoCal in college when they bought us out and run as an outlet for Atari products.
-
But you cant delay when they are available to the public, bc rumorhas it that cmart is planning to hoard them.
Then take my $$ now!

-
I'm so ready for this since I didn't have the money back then for a CC3.
-
NOW that is a collection!
-
Interested.

Just got the composite mod from him about 2 weeks ago. Easy 4-wire install.
-
Will it be ready by CGE?

Composite mod still avail?

I was having all kinds of trouble with the multiupload link; mostly to do with my firewall software and content filtering software complaining of malware on the site and all kinds of non-sense. I finally fired up a VPN and hit the link, however I found that most of the links were dead, but finally had success with uppit.
That said, I went ahead and uploaded the file to my Dropbox and thought I'd just share the link for future ease of downloading this version. Here's where I put it:

And thanks for all the effort you put into maintaining this fantastic database!!
Thanks!

OMG! That is one helluva collection!

Count me in since I procrastinated on the Cuttle Cart.

I wish I had gone this route; much cleaner. But for some reason I was too lazy to open the SC again. Nice job, Mark!
-
That is the "cleaner" way of doing it. Good job, Mark!

Thanks again and enjoy your Memorial weekend trip.

Wow, great thread. I thought I was the one who thought of the audio mod, I didn't know anyone else was doing it or had even thought of it. The female stereo 1/8 jack instead of a clumsy mono wire or adapter is really the only way to go, especially since it's so dang easy, even those that can't do the main mod like myself can do that one.
Supercharger enthusiasts may find these threads very handy:

I agree that the female 1/8" is the way to go. I was too lazy to open up the SC and solder it in so I hacked the existing cable.

Where the old meets the new. I finally got around doing Bob Colbert's mod 2 days ago. Also did the stereo plug mod yesterday. I bought this SC 7 years ago to do the Colbert's mod. But if it weren't for Mark W. who unselfishly converted Worship the Woodwgrain for everyone here and another user who converted Stella Gets A New Brain onto MP3, I probably wouldn't have bothered. Now I have a new toy to play with.
The Pocket PC is a Toshiba E805 running Ppod (IPOD like interface). The 4-switcher is my original unit from 1980.
very very nice dude, I'll post pics of mine when it's done.
I will also post the re-rip of Stella and I'm going to start making MP3s of Nukey's hacks

Right now I'm waiting on my A/V mod for my 4-switch from 8bitdomain and the time to finish modding my SC.
Let us know how the 8bitdomain AV mod turns out. I want to get one for the 4-switch, INTV, and CV.

Anyone that can provide the Intellivision AV/Composite video mod service?
