  1. Getting a TRS-80 color computer will fix all your problems. And get you better programing skills, as it has one of the worlds best 8-bits (actually, probably the best) ever made. It was also made by old billy gates, and it`s the only software that works, so it has to be god. lol. I`m 14 and love my TRS-80. I`m in development right now making asteroids, but it`s completely diff. from the atari version, but is gona be fun!

???? we are talking about C64 PS.

  2. Tricked out? Are you adding a "blinged" out toggle switch?? :rolling:

hehe no but I'm modding the audio cable with a female stereo 1/8" jack instead of that ugly mono wire that comes out of it. then I'm velcro-ing the ipod on to the end of the supercharger so it faces you... then it's all icing baby :)

I was thinking about adding a stereo jack instead of having that mono-plug coming out. With the black and white audio wires inside the Supercharger, is BLACK ground and WHITE signal?

  3. okay, I'm sold. I'd better get to work removing that other kidney now, that should just about cover the down payment... $173 is a terrible price to pay for space rogue.

I got my 1541U the other day. It is sooooooo incredibly AMAZING!!.

Finally a real 1541 substitute! Thank the C64 gods! :D

I'd like to get a 1541U but too pricey. I bought 64HDD in hopes for an easy APE like solution-gave up.

  4. There is a videogame shop that sells some old 8-bit stuff on the westside (8 miles west of The Strip). However, the prices are higher than what they go for on Ebay. Of course, thrift shops are a hit and miss. I remember back 10 years ago, there was a C64, 1541 and 1702 for $99. A bit overpriced. It seems the old 8-bit stuff is on the high side. Some of these thrift shops have caught on that some stuff can be collectible. Last year, at the Goodwill store, a boxed Colecovision was listed at $99!!!!! Another time, I went there on a half-price day and found about 25 2600 carts at 13 cents each.
