  1. There is another thread on the original Starpath games in here somewhere but they are the regular non MP3 files.
  2. Wow guys....thanks for all of your work! Great to see this going so others can benefit from it also.
  3. They mentioned "first batch." Perhaps there will subsequent ones?
  4. I thought they were making a different version? Doesn't seem to make sense to go through all that trouble just to produce 20 units.
  5. I ran into the same issue with Lee. I wonder why he doesn't simply make copies? Was he told not to do so?
  6. Like the title says. Preferrably the CD-Rom version. I'll entertain the floppy version as well.
  7. Lee told me this is no longer available.
  8. bfstates: Thanks for answering. Yes I do =) mimo-Thanks for the link.
  9. I'll check. Thanks! Edit: Fuse is fine.
  10. Tried the 1200XL on a regular tv AV in and it doesn't really look that good. Again, I have been using composite. However, it looks almost as good as my 130XE SV when using a Composite to VGA adapter and an old 15" MAG monitor. Go figure....
  11. *SIGH* I just had a bad power supply kill my C64. Using a good PS, the C64 screen is grayed instead of the usual blue.
  12. Larry: Thanks for the update. Edit: Just did the mod. Using composite, it is almost as good as my SV 130XE. The 1200XL is brighter and vivid in comparison. The major difference I can tell is that the white characters on the modded 1200XL have some color bleed.
  13. Please help me with this step. I am not sure what you are referring to. With the chip oriented right-side up and the notch on top of the 4050 (at U27), which side will pin 11 be on and which one is it if I count from top down. Also, where is the +5v? Sorry if this is too newbie of a question. I need a visual aid. I have completed the 800XL and 130XE SV mods using pics. Thanks.
  14. Is this collection pretty much every retail piece of software that was ever sold?
  15. Dual 810s and a Trinitron? This person must have $$$.
  16. I never had a problem with them. I once had to return something and it was a very smooth transaction.
  17. 1) Timex Sinclair 2) TI-99/4a because my dad didn't want to spend the money on an Atari. 3) 600XL with 1010. 4) Franklin 1000 (Apple II+ clone) 5) C-64 6) Atari ST 7) Amiga 1000 (used it for the first 2 yrs of college) PC from here forward
  18. Wow....I'm glad I am not the only one with that thought. I definately do not want it to end up in a landfill. The problem is that I wonder how many of the "Younger" people will appreciate the stuff. We love this stuff because we grew up with it. I think the "Younger" set is concerned only with graphics and FPS.
  19. What will become of all of your stuff? I would like to keep it for as long as I am still coherent. But for those that do not have children, should we donate it to some historical society? Give it away? Ebay it before we pass away? I remember when I was a kid, there was this old man that had a very valuable HO train collection. As far as I know, he did not have children because he was always misreable and alone. He was just some old man that lived alone with his dogs. I was the only kid that would talk to him and the other kids were afraid of him. One day, he passed away all alone in his house and I guess the stuff just went to the state that probably sold it at an estate auction. I know if I pass before my wife, she will just throw it out. Since you guys are probably in your 40s like me, do ever give this any thought?
  20. Looking for ROMs on wav or mp3 format to use on my Supercharger. I'd prefer to buy a copy of Worship the Woodgrain. Thanks.
  21. Haha....Ijust realized it is April Fools. Good one. "Lush 2D enviroment" LOL
  22. I still have my original 4-switch and games from 1981 when I was in the 8th grade and my ColecoVision when it first came out. A little OT, but I still remember my dad taking me to several Toys-R-Us during X-Mas looking for the ColecoVision.
