Am I allowed to point out that a Raspberry Pi in a cute case can do the same thing?

CPU podcast just did a bit on a new Inty… seriously, these would have better luck doing the Konami thing & making some slots.

It was €35 so not the end of the world. I might get €17 back. What bothers me is that AliExpress approves this way of doing business.

It's like the Ford Pinto thing. Paying the lawsuits is cheaper than redesign.

They pay for a few expensive returns/exchanges that people notice. And profit tons more from the ones that slip by.

  5. Those super small transmitters in tv series always seem to have infinite range/battery-life! (Watching The money heist)

Or you ever notice in cop/detective shows in the 70's/80's, the cop always breaks into somewhere he's not supposed to be and finds a paper trail...Usually it's in a file cabinet to be read by flashlight haha...

OOP wasn't enough of course, so they invented design patterns, solid principles, dependency injection, entity frameworks and test driven development to test your bloated code.

It might feel faster, because there's less wandering around in a literal "clicker" game, and it's also easier to get into it for short periods of time.

I "want to like" Animal Crossing, too. A friend calls the 3DS version his favorite game ever.

      Skippy B. Coyote

Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS is by far the best Animal Crossing, there's just no contest. I still have a soft spot for Wild World on the original DS though. =)

Elsewhere it was commented that one wouldn't want to be programming for the Voyager in case one made a mistaked and "bricked" it, far away in space. I commented that if an alien captures or destroys the probe, the programmer might still get the blame here on Earth that no data any longer are received.

I'm actually doing the same thing at the moment, trying to convince myself to go back and finish up The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on the GameCube. I got about 90% of the way through it then the last few missions got really hard so I kinda gave up.

I've done those before. But they're typically self-inflicted, because I don't like leaving things unfinished just because the company I work for is too cheap to hire additional personnel.
