I have one of those pnp controllers with a sonic game, running on batteries. I could switch it on (without a tv), knowing there is a sonic game going on inside with all kinds of things happening. That thought just freaks me out.

my girlfriend looked at a laptop, didn't like the touchpad. looked at a more expensive one - still no. Then an even more expensive one - it's okay, but the UI in windows 8 seems like it needs a touchscreen so she wanted that.
I pay twice the price of the first laptop we looked at, we come home and she plugs a £2 budget mouse into it.
