  1. I have the same problem with my PVM and found the same solution. [emoji1]
  2. Thanks, I’m pretty excited about it. When I asked how much it was the guy asked me if $20 sounded good before I countered with $10. They clearly wanted it gone. It also came with 90 days of AOL! [emoji1]
  3. Not exactly a console or strictly a thrift find, but I wasn’t sure where else to post this. Hit up the final day of a estate sale this weekend and picked up this 366Mhz Celeron setup. I had no idea it was half off day when I offered them $10 since it wasn’t priced, so I was pretty happy getting it all for $5. Super clean and looks like it was only used for Internet, Office, and syncing a palm pilot. Replaced the battery, set the boot partition, and it booted right up. Been enjoying reading@eightbit's 486 build thread, so I hope to get this running as a gaming computer real soon.
  4. I have the 5x and I like it quite a bit. There are some good reviews on YouTube that can help you decide if it’s for you. Good luck!
  5. I just had something ship from the Ukraine too with tracking and it confused me as well.
  6. I’ve been thinking of doing this too but never took the plunge. Great looking machine! [emoji7]
  7. Ah that makes sense! I use the GD pretty much exclusively these days, so that’s good to hear.
  8. There’s issues with the Game Drive? What seems to be the issue exactly? I see the other games listed as having issues on the product page but not the GD.
  9. Looks like @Doomy Doomer has put these up for sale: https://www.humblebazooka.com/product/atari-jaguar-bluetooth-adapter/ Can't wait to give it a go!
  10. I've been using one of these from Retro-Access: https://retro-access.com/collections/atari-jaguar-cables They are rock solid and I recommend all their cables. They are a little more expensive but well worth the price. They are opening orders on the 6th so if you want one be sure to jump on it since they don't open orders too often these days.
  11. How reliable are vintage 3rd party power supplies? I picked up a Tenex branded one not too long ago in a nice metal case. Haven’t used it much but I’m thinking I just need to buy one from Ray and call it a day.
  12. We used to play this game as a family growing up. My father accused me of memorizing answers. Apparently he didn’t understand how learning works.
  13. I got the first mod that required soldering, and it was my first major soldering project. I was so proud of myself that I didn't kill it. If I didn't already have one of these I would be all over it. If you're a fan of the Gamecube this is a no brainer.
  14. That's awesome, thanks for the info! I ended up just ordering a 3A+ with some extras from CanaKit tho. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay but not nearly as much as the $100 sellers on eBay want. Ugh. Can't wait to get all the bits in the mail so I can try this out, the videos I watched make it look pretty amazing!
  15. Got a loose 7800 console from Bill and everything was suburb. Thanks again!
  16. I've read that too, but haven't found much info about it. I might have to give it a go tho with the 3A+ being so scarce. Let me know how that works out for you! I did find the 3A+'s in stock at CanaKit but you have to buy a whole kit. Still a lot cheaper than the $100 some yahoo's are asking tho.
  17. I appreciate it but I need this specific model for a Pistorm kit. Thanks for your offer!
  18. EDIT: Found one, thanks everybody! Does anyone have one of these they wouldn’t mind parting with? The global parts shortage is real and I haven’t been able to find one in stock anywhere. Thanks in advance!
  19. This is my preferred way to play my 7800. A winning combination if there ever was one!
  20. Very cool of you to do this. These NES posters are super nostalgic to me.
  21. Hit up @Atari_Bill and see if he still has any for sale. I got a loose system off him a few months back, but at the time he had several complete systems as well. Good luck!
  22. #499 here. Forgot to mention I was an Atari Age member. Oops. [emoji29]
