No, because I was silly enough not to take any pictures. I *should* have taken pictures of that card...perhaps the person who bought it will give us a demo!

The current owner is sending it to me to be dumped/backed up.  I will ask if I can share images (both picture and ROM).

Not an oversight at all on that one. In 2018, Telegames re-released Hyperdrome on a curved lip cart, so I didn't want to step on any toes - https://atarigamer.com/lynx/game/Hyperdrome/621879372

Very true.  Thanks for making sure on that one!

P.S. the newborn is doing great, thanks for all the well wishes 🙂 the challenge is balancing the 2 year old and the 2 month old at the same time at the moment. 😅

    Good luck!

Hyperdrome was.  It's listed as HYPERDRO.04 on the list of release he posted.  Grid runner was one Macrorie obtained on the first set of roms he purchased and said would later release after a year of selling or after he made his profit back.  Thankful for what was released, just wonder why those got excluded.

Hyperdrome was in the initial set.  Here is the list of what was on the floppies again.  I am sure it was just an oversight.  Having a newborn is a MASSIVE time and mindspace occupier.  Really got to cut Igor some slack for like a year (or two!)

Also Macrorie, were the ones stolen look like any of the ones we've previously purchased from you?  How are we going to know the difference from the ones we all purchased from you and the stolen ones in case we sell some of ours down the road here or on ebay?

These were unique in that they were printed in a grey plastic that was nigh identical to the Lynx grey and I have never sold any that color before.

  4. Thanks to @Igor for hosting these and putting in the work to curate them.

Also, we should all congratulate Igor on the arrival of his new child!!

BTW, if someone tries to sell you Lynx PRoto reproductions with the MacRorie printed on the back, do not buy them!

My van was broken into and 36 of them I had made for the show [PRGE] (and $5000 worth of other items) were stolen Friday morning

@mozzwald  and I have a #AtariLynx, with a #FujiNet connected via the ComLynx, playing a game of Rampart. With the addition of a wait for idle routine, collisions are gone, and network is much more reliable! IT WORKED!

So freaking awesome!  I may be more excited about this than anything in the past five years! Kudos and awesomesauce!

So how do I go about starting the TRADE-IN option.

The first step is to order the Trade-in option & a new case at: https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/myteks-576nuc-atari-computer/products/myteks-576nuc-and-internal-fujinet

Then, you will receive an email telling you how to send your 576NUC+ in for the upgrade.  All orders have boards done, just waiting on the printer to finish the cases. We expect all orders already placed to be shipped no later than the end of this month (March).  Probably sooner.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM or email!

  7. Folks,

The 576NUC+ **With FujiNet/Cartridge board** (by @Mr Robot) is now available for public consumption!  If you already have a 576NUC+ with an internal FujiNet from us and want to upgrade to the FujiNet/Cartridge board, there is a TRADE-IN option available!

Yes, but you'll have to build it yourself:

Chicken-and-egg problem. Nobody will create an adapter if nobody will buy it, nobody will buy an adapter if no games support it, nobody will make games that support an adapter nobody has.

I mean, I wouldn’t call us “nobody,” but we do make something that might work (https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/atari-jaguar/products/atari-st-mouse-adapter). Indeed, AtariAge sells them in their store.

If I had one of the joysticks, might be able to modify it for direct use.

I mean they can report it to...me? I would also say this counts as art and historical preservation. Is there a back story to this particular ROM do you know?

Yeah, I get it.  But, people being what they are . . . .

All I was told was that it was a tongue-in-cheek test of the scaling abilities done by the person who gave them to me.  This person was a member of the original team.

I'm of two minds about this, it is part of the dump but it deff isn't family friendly (but then I never claimed that the site or the content is). I do like how the sound is synchronised with the video though ?

Well, I tried to put just a *brief* cut on my YouTube channel and someone reported it within a day. Yours is a private site, but, then again, people are …. people.

I was curious about this ROM as I've not seen it before, loading it as is didn't work so I converted it to a 512K LYX file and that got it working. I'm of two minds about this, it is part of the dump but it deff isn't family friendly (but then I never claimed that the site or the content is). I do like how the sound is synchronised with the video though ?

All of those ROMs have to be converted. They are raw binaries.

EDIT: okay, most of them. Some of the completed games can be loaded once you put a header on them.

also, IIRC, the buttons will speed up or slow down the “action.”

I get the distinct feeling that it is not technical problems that are holding up the release, but the desire to squeeze more juice from the orange :)

Y'know, this is why we can't have nice things.  I told myself I was not going to respond to this because no good would be done by responding, but it sticks in my craw.

    {rant deleted}

However, as it happens, on Friday, I had contacted AtariGamer.com to have them host every single one of the files.  They agreed to do so.  When they are ready to release them, there will be a post here.

    Enjoy yourself.

I see a program called romsplit referenced however I do not see where to download it; would someone point me to it please? I have found some other threads and sites even that make reference but no where to download it.

If someone thinks this file shouldn't be here, please kindly let me know and I will delete it.  However, this has ROMSPLIT, docs for it, and other useful files.  I seem to have gotten it from a Jag Dev kit CD.
