What version of the manual are you using? 1.94 has a correction. Verify these are your connections. Swap L9 & L7 L9 is to Luma, L7 is to Chroma Comp Video

ST/Amiga Mouse adapter for Jaguar Gridrunner & Defender of the Crown
MacRorie replied to MacRorie's topic in Atari Jaguar
You selected Amiga mouse at the selection screen, I am presuming? -
Hmm, I cannot think of any reason why it would not work (outside of the mouse itself being non-functional). You can send it to me and, if I can verify it is defective, will send you a replacement. If not, then you know you need to find a new mouse without having to find a PS/2 capable computer! -M
-
A couple of questions: 1. Is it a standard PS/2 mouse or is it a mouse USB with an adapter? 2. Does port 2 work with a regular Jag Pad? 3. Have you verified operation of the mouse in a computer? 4. What kind of PS/2 mouse is it? feel free to email me directly @ macrorie@thebrewingacademy.com -M

Fair enough.

If anyone has his contact information, I would be happy to contact him and license the design. He could make some money and not have to make them, Nanos would still exist, win-win. Just a thought. -M

I was only referring to the board, but if you want to license your shell design, we can certainly discuss it. Always open to new possibilities.

I/We (The Brewing Academy) will probably offer some form of this for sale if it is okay with everyone concerned. I plan on modifying it a little bit so the dev board is not needed, but initially, it just might be what is available. There are other projects in the works as well that we will offer for sale. -M

Fair enough, but what did you tell them? Leave it as is or delete?

My vote is for "UNOfied PlusCart" (Hello, all) -M

If there are some still available, I will take five (5). Thanks -M

Yes, I know. I happen to have "a couple" of them to look at. However, I was referring to L7 & L9. I did not want to have to open my 800XL again to see where I installed them so I could correct the manual for the 5th time.

ACP.XEX is in the link I put in message #1185. Can you please tell me which lines you have Chroma and Luma connected? I have flipped them back and forth countless times because people keep saying they are reversed in the manual.
-
That's not precisely what you should be getting (see last pages of the manual for comparisons). However, if it looks good to you and you have no complaints, then as far as I am concerned, it's perfect and you can tell me, "Tell your story walking!"
-
That file can always be found here: https://www.thebrewingacademy.net/uav_xex.zip Also, I would tend to agree that you are not getting all of the colors you really can without the color in line being connected. It won't harm anything if it is not connected, but you should get a better picture with it connected.

There's always these: https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/ultimate-atari-video-uav/products/internal-audio-board-atari-400-others

Just my $0.02: It is a very good monitor. It is especially convenient to be able to test PAL video as it supports both NTSC and PAL broadcast (analog). You really have to dig into the menus to find the switch for it, but it is there. SCART is very convenient as well. Is has built-in speakers and is relatively robust. I have it hooked up to a SECAM 7800 via the native SCART cable for a test bed for 2600-UNOs and use another one to test PAL 1088 builds since I can populate every port for tests and not have to go to a different monitor. That was a great price esp. given free shipping.

Lynx Prototypes Found: Rolling Thunder, GeoDuel, Vindicators, MORE
MacRorie replied to MacRorie's topic in Atari Lynx
They were given to me as part of a deal to do with what I would. Now, did the person who gave them to me have the ability to do that? Dunno. I think so, but could be wrong. However, I figured I would put them out there so people could play them. Release them to the wild in a year and everybody is, hopefully, copacetic! -

I saw that as well. I did not put it together with the scenery change, but makes sense. -

Two places really: https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/atari-lynx and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCYxOe-iSI9Ow3gZhafmaYQ I know it is not all compiled into a comprehensive document/video, but it really is being down as I can steal time from other things. Not that this isn't important, it's just that everything else is equally important as well! I will find more time to go through the files in the next few weeks. -M
