  1. Thanks!! Looks awesome actually - I'm hoping to get one cheaper than that though - I don't care about a box and condition etc - as long as it works...! I dunno - I'm probably out of the loop now and these things have become more expensive since I was collecting a few years back????
  2. Hi all, Just a stab in the dark here - but I was wondering if anyone in Aust had an original Master System console they would be willing to part with?? I've got a pile of Master System II's, but I want to relive my youth with the original! Even if someone just had the console (no cords etc) I'd be interested! Thanks guys
  3. Thanks for the replies, I'll give VBA a shot and see how I go. While I've got you, any suggestions on the best place to get the emulator and roms?
  4. Hey people! Just looking for some advice on emulating the original monochrome Gameboy. All I can seem to find is Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Colour emulators. Any advice??? Cheers!!
  5. yeah i was thinking it could be the tv, but the 2600, master system, mega drive, nes, snes, saturn, wii, and ps3 are all plugged in and all work fine... the n64 isn't too bad... it's playable.. just not perfect...... i was thinking of running it through the dvd player, but it doesn't have any additional inputs....
  6. hey! my wife purchased some new N64 pads for me for xmas, so i thought i'd fire up the old girl and take down mario 64 for the 3 millionth time..... anyway...... everything is fine except that the screen is a little jittery/shaky on the big screen lcd tv.... i've tried various av cables with no luck and took the N64 into the smaller tv in the bedroom where it worked great... it seems the N64 doesn't like my big tv any ideas/similar experiences??? cheers in advance!!
  7. hey! not sure if i actually read this a while back or if it was a dream... was there someone in oz willing to give away some commons for the price of postage??? if so, i'm totally interested as i've pretty much exhausted my options in terms of stores etc here......

  16. Hi, just took my 6 switch woody out of storage due to moving house, and the picture seems a little "grainy", not crystal clear (although it's still fine to play, just not perfect). It's tuned into the tv fine, and I was thinking that maybe the end of the AV cable needs to be cleaned, as when I clean it with my fingers I can sometimes change the static in the picture. Has anyone had this happen/got any tips? Cheers!
  17. nice! i might have to head over to welland soonish cheers!

  22. i've got some of the cx 40 replicas and i love them. mostly because they are very "clicky" when you use them. one thing though, i have broken the sticks inside them while playing. guess i got carried away a bit. anyway, i just took them apart and switched out the broken sticks with spare ones from some older controllers i had laying around and they work better than ever. i guess the plastic inside the replicas is cheap and not very durable. other than that, they are well worth the money Hmmm I think you may have just convinced me .... anyway, I deserve a new toy.....
  23. Yeah, I have a couple of ok sticks, but for some reason I just don't feel complete without a working CX40 style in my collection.... sad but true
  24. Hey! just wondering if anyone can help me here? I've been lookin' all around for a good CX40 for ages, but every one I find is dead or dying. I'm not much of a handyman so I was thinking of buying one of the aftermarket CX40 replicas that are floating around eBay. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with these? Thanks!
