I played subLOGIC's Flight Simulator and Flight Simulator II quite a bit on the Apple IIe... looking at the footage of the new MS Flight Simulator, it's pretty amazing how far things have come.

  We used to pretend going on space voyages after "flying off" the grid in A2-FS1. It was like a huge void. And especially trying to get back after getting lost. Enough fuel? Great times!

  Isn't it though. Compare Night Driver to Pole Position, to OutRun, to Forza / Gran Turismo on modern systems. I'm so glad to have been alive for all of this great stuff. I can't even imagine what the next 20 years will bring.
