  1. Dude, you've got to remember that you coined that name. Every time I read it, I laugh. That would be the ultimate name for a refurbished hack. Too funny, too, too funny. ò¿ó
  2. Just some trivia... Of 39 Super Bowls to date, only three ended with scores that included a 2 as one of the team's final digits... Super Bowl XI: Oakland Raiders vs. Minnesota Vikings, Pasadena. Final score 32-14. Super Bowl winners: Raiders Super Bowl XXVII: Dallas Cowboys vs. Buffalo Bills, Pasadena. Final score 52-17. Super Bowl winners: Cowboys Super Bowl XXXVIII: New England Patriots vs. Carolina Panthers, Houston. Final score 32-29. Super Bowl winners: Patriots Of these three, one game did have a score ending with both a 2 and 7 in the final digits. Gotta think positive. ò¿ó (only football-like icon I have)

  4. As mentioned, the SW: Rogue series is great. And for a quick, no-strings-attached get-away, be sure to try any of the Mario Party games (4, 5, 6, 7). Six can be a bit taxing unless you let it play itself, but the others are just plain, simple fun. ò¿ó
  5. Well, welcome to the club. Just when I thought things couldn't get any more confusing, they did. I've looked at the contest page and my Excel document and I have no idea how I picked 'Exocet' for that slot. The cryptogram has 7 letters, but I used a 6 letter word that worked. Maybe dumb luck, but... There are no games that start with "E" and have 7 letters, much less that have the first and next-to-last letter as the same. And as far as the grand finales, it's tough. Not sure how to get to where I'm supposed to be. ò¿ó
  6. Like spaces and punctuation? ò¿ó
  7. Well good luck because you guys will have a whole weekend. My Excel spreadsheet is at work. Just working from memory, I believe that one is Exocet. Since I've also left all of my solutions in the spreadsheet and I've not worked on this at home at all, I can't get to the contest page to see the anagrams. That was the one that had the first letter and the next-to-the-last letter as the same, right? Well, the daughter and I are heading back to W<3K. That's good stuff. ò¿ó
  8. Well we're all in this together now and it's just for fun, so here's what I know (or some of it)... Activision Atari Atari Activision Panda Atari Atari US Games Zellers P - Nothing else needed Atari Atari Activision Atari ò¿ó
  9. The letters do work in the original order, from first to last, of the solved anagrams. And several of them have mutiple possible answers. I'm not a crytogram guy. Crytopgrams suck to me, but using a database of game names that can be sorted by the number of characters in the title, then looking for repeating letter patterns worked for me. And the ones that have the last letter given really help to eliminate typically all but two or three games. Also, Room didn't seem to get too abstract with the games, so there's nothing like Brazilian titles involved. ò¿ó
  10. Heh, heh. Thanx, but we're currently working on a mental escape from Room34, Alcatraz. Now, to figure out how to get a 13 character answer from 8 answers... ò¿ó

  12. So are we working with "DEFENDER" or "DEFENDER*" or "DEFENDERSTAR" or "DEFENDERASTERISK"? I've pondered that for a while. And the "NINE" has puzzled me from the beginning. Does it mean to shift the letters front to back or does it mean you can fully rotate the "NIN" 180º and it will remain the same? ò¿ó
  13. [tumbleweed] Has anyone made any more progress on this? [/tumbleweed] ò¿ó
  14. It's really even worse than it looks... First I Googled "Outlaw Josey Wales" and found an image located here... http://www.dvdtown.com/review/outlawjoseywalesthe/8718/160/ Then I grabbed a box shot of Outlaw from the AA archives. The color image of Josey had to be rotated to the right 6.0°. Of course each image was scaled to match size. Always use the distance between the pupils, especially if the head orientation is the same, like these two images. Here's what it looks like... Notice the collar of the shirt, both sides, the veins in the hands, the hat size and location, the size and orientation of the guns, and the cuff of the left hand. Such an incredible ripoff! ò¿ó
  15. Thanx again to MMF (SJ)! It's absolutely awesome to see this in the game with my own eyes. It's actually all over Atlanta! ò¿ó
  16. This is freaking awesome!. I was just tooling around the forums one day (work's been a hastle lately and home life has been super busy, so I've been absent from the forums a lot) and ran across the contest. Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this, much less have won! Cool! Now I have an excuse to get one more Rockstar game, which I would have done any way. Thanx again, ò¿ó
  17. Oops! I failed to use the correct "ohhla" logo. Sorry for the double-file. ò¿ó
  18. Here's mine. There's a higher resolution available, if needed. ò¿ó
  19. I've not played HF2, nor will I unless it comes out on a console. But speaking of the problems with configuring computers, that's my #1 reason I so much prefer console gaming over PC gaming. And yes, I understand that PC's can constantly be updated with the latest video accelerators and CPU's and memory, while a console remains "static", but being able to (9,999 times out of 10,000) put a game in a console and it run with no problems is worth it to me. And much like the Star Wars movies (Episodes 4, 5, 6), the middle game in each series seems to darken the plot and increase dismay for gamers. The best we all can do is hope that in each series (H2 & HL2), the "pseudo-final" episdoe will blow everything away. For me, the ending to Halo 2 wasn't bad, but it didn't tie up very many of the plot strings. That seems to be "by design", so that even more can be included in the final episode. ò¿ó
  20. Bungie has been playing some big names lately and they've got EGM this week. And win, lose or draw, there's no such thing as bad publicity, so hopefully Albert and Alex will consider it. Speaking of Alex and Albert, does anyone know if they even play Halo 2 coming to an agreement. It would also stand to reason that at least one of them (Albert, Alex) would be required to participate, but once again I have no idea. ò¿ó
  21. So, who here plays Halo 2 on XBox Live? And better yet, who can we gather to offer a challenge to the guys at Bungie.net? Bungie just got done scraping by GeezerGamers.com, so AA should be able to whack them good. Albert and Alex should seriously look into a Humpday Challenge with Bungie. What does everyone think? ò¿ó
  22. There's bigger fish to fry for me this week and next. And the way the pace of this game speeds up and slows down is frustrating. It keeps you on your toes, but can catch you off-guard if you're not careful. ò¿ó
  23. We just suck! Hopefully Todd has "high tailed" it out of there by now. Even though the hurricane has slowed, it sounds like travel is terrible right now. And thanx, KY, for doing a screen capture instead of an emulator grab. What emulator are you using? I've been through a lot of them, but the window border looks unfamiliar. Are you Apple or Linux or something? I'm always open to trying a new emu. ò¿ó
