    Q*Bert Qubes

twit- Thanks. thats some real good advice. I know that the Lynx will bring me more use than the Qubes cart does or will. I dont collect the carts for a collection, I collect them to use then. and i have the 2600 carts that i want and i have almost all the 7800 carts that i want. what i have been missing is the lynx and the games for that system.
  2. JagDiesel - you want the "Crack'ed" cart?. ok. does anyone know where i can get planet smashers NTSC not PAL, I got a PAL and cant play it so i want a NTSC version. kevin

    Q*Bert Qubes

Ok, atari70s and I are currently working on a trade. He has a Lynx with game case, 4 games - 1 boxed and will get me an a/c adapter too. the Lynx is in almost mint shape, there is a crack on the plastic screen cover- replaceable, no biggy. I have a Q*Bert Qubes Cart, no box unfortunatly, its in excellent shape, no damage to label and it works just fine. Here is the question to all you Atari Masters- What value is the Q*Bert Qubes cart? I found one on Ebay (item #1253006907) and it went for $96.00 or shoud the two of us just do an even swap? Thanks for your help. Kevin
  4. atari70s - Ok, so i'm interested, do you have the a/c adapter and could you email me the list of games to kondre@wagnerforest.com thanks
  5. atari70s - the rounded one is the first one. http://www.atarilynx.com/ has the image of the lynx II. if that one is the one you have, then i am interested in it. kevin
  6. -^Cro§Bow^- I left the 2600 list at the house. I thought I had a copy on the laptop, but i dont. atari70s- I would be interested in the Lynx, is it the original or the Lynx II? Iwoul perfer the latter. I will list what I remember: not boxed: Qberts Qubes Donky Kong Donky Kong Jr. Alien Boxed: Frogger Blue Print Solar Fox Cosmic Arc Atlantis Demon Attack Commando Raid Entombed Kangaroo I think i have road runner Space Cavern Sqeeze Box I know I have more, I just cant remember them all. anyhow. I WILL get the list tonight and get it to you guys. Kevin
  7. My Ballblazer cart is a Red label. according to this website, its not that rare.
  8. -^Cro§Bow^- I will email that list to you tomorrow (the 24th) Jeffy - I am getting interested in a Lynx system, I would easily trade the qubes cart for one or atleast have as part of payment to one. Kevin
  9. hey, -^Cro§Bow^- i got some 7800 carts that i can trade, not sure if they are anything anyone might want or need but here is the list: pole position II food fight dig dug ms. pac-man asteroids super skateborardin' ballblazer crack'ed robotron xevious realsports baseball centipede joust all are loose, but i would let them go real easy. kevin
  10. I have a bunch of 2600 carts, some of them are in the boxes still and some are loose. I dont think any are ultra rare except for one, Qbert qubes, and was wondering if someone would like to trade them for two 7800 carts that i have been looking for. I would trade the 2600 carts less the qbert's qubes and am considering selling the qberts qubes on ebay. unless someone would like to get a hold of it first. I would rather it go to someone in this group since well, a member here is in my mind better than those out there just looking to snag atari stuff just to turn around and sell it for big $$. anyhow. i have a list of the carts i have and the rarity grade and if they are boxed or not. I am looking for the following 7800 carts in boxes- fatal run and planet smashers. both NTSC not PAL. thanks
  11. Ok. well thanks for the great information on the PAL carts working or the lack there of in a NTSC machine. getting the rom chip and all sounds like it might be a pain in the butt, plus if it doesnt solve the issue completly, i dont think i will go that route. I think i will try to sell the cart on ebay and just keep looking for a NTSC version of the cart. Thanks a ton guys. Kevin O
  12. I am late to this string but here goes.... Best 7800 game- multiplayer- Water Ski : this game is so cool in that it will allow two players to control just as it would be in real life, one drives the boat the other skis- thats fabulous. single player- xevious : this game is fun and looks very close to the real arcade version. runner up is commando. Worst 7800 game- Karateka : I played this game on the old Apple IIe as well and liked it a lot. but the 7800 port is way off. first the delay in controlling makes it virtually impossible to get past the first bird attack. runner up is pole position. again cotrol issues make it difficult to enjoy. Kevin
  13. I just recently attained a Planet Smashers cart in box with instructions. The problem is that it is a PAL version. I was aware of the verions when i purchased it, i just figured i would be optimistic and hope it would work on my NTSE 7800. Well I was wrong, i get a black screen right after the Logo Screen. what can i do to get this cart to run properly? Thanks Kevin
