  1. And the nintendo 64 supposedly didn't do well (I personally didn't know anybody who didn't have one, but eh...whatever) But even then, they still did good.

I just found out N64 achieved lifetime sales of 32.9 million units so it didn't do as poorly as some seem to think. As I've said earlier in the thread, it was trounced by PlayStation when measured by market share but not if measured by profitability for Nintendo.

  2. Rumor has it that 10,000 copies were produced of several end of life Saturn games:

    Panzer Dragoon Saga

    Magic Knight Rayearth

    Burning Rangers

Shining Force III scenario 1 (US version)

Yep, I stand corrected. I got confused with another game that only supposedly had 5000 copies released which incidentally was the PAL version of Space Channel 5 pt.2 on PS2.

  3. I think it was produced in seriously small numbers near the end of the Saturn lifecycle

Thats probably very true. Many games fell vivtim to short lifespan but it just makes them more desirable:)

Yep, it was released towards the end of Saturn's lifespan. I also recall reading somewhere Sega only released around 5000 copies of the PAL English language version. I'm unsure how many copies they released in the US but as it appears to be pricey there too common sense would perhaps suggest that was a rather limited release also. My guess is that as Sega pulled the plug on Saturn in the US a while before they did so in Europe perhaps they decided not to manufacture too many US copies.

  4. Nomad rules..

You can connect a extra controller and play 2 player games on system or TV and has a stereo jack

And from what I recall it plays all regions.

    It certainly does rule.

It doesn't quite play all PAL games but it plays the majority. I love connecting it to my TV via a Scart cable to get a superior quality image in addition to the fact it plays my Mega Drive games at 60Hz rather than my PAL Mega Drive's 50Hz.

  5. I also plan on doing a JagFest  .....of course there can be more than one JagFest i imagine, but maybe when the time is right i can work with some of the others that hold these JagFests.... If i held my own JagFest id dont see the problem with that either. :)

Any chance of adding a European leg to your JagFest tour? Please!!

Yes ,actually traveling overseas with the JagFest is something i want to do aswell, kinda like what Gaztee does with his VR setup :) ,but obviously i wont be able to bring all the Jaggy goods that i have here in the states. Ive got alot of plans and support for the Jaguar in the future. :D JAGUAR RULES!!

I'm dribbling with excitement! JAGUAR RULES!! :)

  7. Originally I had my Wii connected to a Sony 28" CRT widescreen via the standard cable that came supplied and it looked average. When I replace the TV with a Sony Bravia 40" 1080p using the same cable it looked pretty bad, i.e. ghosting and colour bleeding. I've since replaced the cable with the component one and the image is great and its superb for games that have the EDTV mode.

In EDTV early games such as Zelda displayed plenty of jaggies but that game was of course originally developed for Game Cube. Current title such as Mario Kart look fantastic.
