i would just like to add that the webshop for uwol described in this video is still monitored and orderes are honored when they come in. it has not been updated for a while because there is no content to add currently. we are working on this however.
unfortunately the website appears to be currently dead, rest assured it will be looked into within the next couple of days so that it is operational again

Nice. Price seems very steep.
It's kind of my bone to pick with Songbird as of late. All the games are $10, $20 or more than the AA store. WHY?
Good job your not in the UK then isnt it, or you would have another £50+ on top of that to cough up in 'boris' tax
and what recompence do i see from the government with all the extra acquired cash? FA, thats what!!!!
there have been muliple games that i havent purchased that i would have, but excessive costs / shipping / tax, leaves a rather bitter taste in the mouth when you get the final bill to get the item.

i don't mind giving the files away for free for a coupe of uses, however i haven't as yet because people exist in the community who will take your work and profiteer on the mass at your expense.

my friend who was selling the ST ports has about 3 boxes of cart shells to get through, myself have abut 600 cart pcbs to get though and over over 500 EPROMS to get through, so your probably right. i have not heard anything myself. usually with this type of thing, if you want it done you have to do it yourself

Yes i have the stl file for the above. it was drawn for me by someone in design at work. or rather the main design file. an stl file isnt much use for editing as is as its just a mesh

i looked at it briefly, but the documentation for is isn't great or maybe it was the examples that weren't? The invaders example that does use it for animation is a tad confusing, for example the speed:
i have not pursued it as yet, although i would like to possibly use it, maybe a more in depth example would give people inspiration. i take it the number provided is the number of frames to wait or is that time and not what the comment says?
; just do a simple bitmap loop for the player
RMA_player_animation:
rspeed(9) ; update every 3 frames
userdat1(4) ; put 5-1 -- 4 pictures
gfx(BMP_PLAYER,WAIT) ; put first picture and wait next VBL
.lp1:
gfx(128,UPDATE,WAIT) ; update picture to the next frame in memory and wait next VBL
loop(userdat1,.lp1) ; do this 5 times
jump(RMA_player_animation) ; and start all this again; just do a simple bitmap loop used by all bad spaceships
RMA_enemy_animation:
rspeed(4) ; update every 3 frames
userdat1(3) ; put 4-1 -- 3 pictures
gfx(BMP_ENEMY,WAIT) ; put first picture and wait next VBL
.lp2:
gfx(128,UPDATE,WAIT) ; update picture to the next frame in memory and wait next VBL
loop(userdat1,.lp2) ; do this 5 times
jump(RMA_enemy_animation) ; and start all this again;End of file

lspconvert <modname>.MOD -noinsane works.
Light Speed Player Converter v1.11
Fastest & Smallest AMIGA music player ever!
Written by Leonard/Oxygene (@leonard_coder)Unknown option "-noinsane"
Usage:
LSPConvert <mod file> [-options]options:
-v : verbose
-insane : Generate insane mode fast replayer source code
-getpos : Enable LSP_MusicGetPos function use
-setpos : Enable LSP_MusicSetPos function use
-nosampleoptim : preserve orginal .MOD soundbank layout
-amigapreview : generate a wav from LSP data (output simulated LSP Amiga player)
-nosettempo : remove $Fxx>$20 SetTempo support (for very old .mods compatiblity) -
where would one get the lspconvert program that works for the jaguar implementation? the one found here https://github.com/arnaud-carre/LSPlayer
does not seem to work (well for the few modules i have tried anyway) and the jag implementation git hub page does not include the convert program as all
i was using lspconvert <module>.mod with no optional switches

Yes, that’s perfectly possible. I wasn’t aware some games forgot to change the colours for PAL!
for example

Is there any chance of an option to force NTSC colour pallet when using the RGB out on pal games, there are instances (Bentley bear crystal quest) for one that on NTSC machines the ‘bear’ is brown, on PAL machines, he is green and looks like a recycling wheelybin!

OK so tonight i updated my game drive with the QR code for downloading the latest update, copied it to the memory card plugged it back in and booted up, the light on the game drive came on RED for a couple of seconds and went out. then the screen stayed black. i waited a few minutes and the screen was still black. i rebooted and the menu was shown, but pressing 0 for the version its telling me im on stub 1.04, looking on the update webpage this seems to be an old version. the firmware is still on the memory card but doesn't activate any update procedure ob power on.
the GD appears to still work properly and loads roms.
would this be a bug or an issue i have caused?

The rom from the most easily available source works. Saving seems a little funny though. Make an mrq file with the default settings, start the game, it will crash. Turn off the system and load the game again and it should work. It doesn't seem to save settings or anything though.
BSG does not start at the default place normal jaguar games start at which is 802000 for cartridges, look at the cart header, it will tell you the right place. but then bsg is a weird beast!
the eeprom needed is a 93lc86, the default is 93lc46 that is why it is not working for you

i take it this version is the same as the previously released version, or is this different in some way?
-
ok so i have been messing with this for quite some time now as a project to get to grips with vb.net as apose to the now obsolete vb6 so i have decided to share what i have currently. it will eventually be a windows based mrq file editor / creator, for now it will only currently save the images as png to a folder you choose and display the mrq held information.
usage is simple, just drag the mrq file you want to view onto the program to get started

Big shout out to Carl. Nice customer service. Can imagine the pain and effort to do a recall.
Got my game cart back and it had my preserved saves on it still. Not really important to me as I only started playing it when the bugs were being reported. But I thought that was cool.
Spent a good 3 hrs playing this game yesterday. Impressive. One of the best Jag game eva IMHO.
Thank to both @phoboz and @Songbird for making this game happen.
that is because he is probably usign a jagtopus board or simmilar so very simple to reprogram
so in essance not really a pain to do a recall, just reflash the existing board
now if he used eproms to make the cart like what was done with the uk distribution, then that would be / is a real pain

According to the Evercade twitter, the new model has a 3000mah battery as opposed to the 2000mah battery on the original. No word on if the new screen uses more or less power than the original though, so we don't know what the actual battery life will be.
if you upgrade your existing evercade handheld screen to an IPS screen it does consume more power, so i would think that the one in the new handheld will also consume more power

our webpage that was hosted on my NAS drive which allowed online ordering is unfortunately no longer functioning, this is due to multiple reasons. the biggest issue was the NAS drive decided it was going to do me over and die and corrupt my array. (drives still machanically good)
the second problem is i changed internet provider to cut costs with rediculus prise rises being imposed. the new provider seems to change ipaddresses aver 5 seconds, even though there is ddns functionality on the replacement nas drive it cant keep up with this ip address switch interval and i have not got it to work from an external source yet.
please email gaz directly for any requests you have.
probably best to use peleiades81@gmail.com to email on.
