i was sure space ace had problems, oh well. as to the original question, not really, only the select few dont work but this can be fixed by de-soldering the 50hz resistor making the jaguar run at 60 hz after this however you would need a rgb scart cable or a tv that likes 60hz signal, i think i tried the rf with a 60hz modified jag but the output was grey

i have now received my package from B&C with a large number of cartridge parts. if you would like a copy of this game email me using the following email address: boggyb(at)ntlworld.com stating which version of the game you would like (please note i will only produce upto an additional 10 special edition versions) first come first served on the special edition extra 10. all cartridges from now on will be made to order as i dont want leftover stock sitting arround. i will be looking at a maximum of about 2/3 games per week, trying to send 15 packages in the post all at once was a bit much i think. special edition cost £40 non special edition cost £30 postage will be as before: usa £5 europe £3 there will be a delay of 1 week before i can start any cartridges due to the fact i am on holiday at the moment and dont have access to the laser copier to make manuals and boxes etc

this is correct, as Matthias says, all the information you need to make a working cd is on his site. for those who fancy a real challenge there is also the required info to make an encrypted cd of it too, this also stops the cd after loading the game. works grate if you know what your doing

due to the limited amount of these available i would have to say 1 copy to start with, then if there are spairs then you can purchase another special edition or simply put in your requirement for a standard one which will be made to order when parts from b&c are fourthcomming

Cheers, Ben nothing is wrong with your boxart. in fact it is better than what i probably could have done. it is however a dvd case insert and i needed a box for the cartridge release, i dont come over to this forum much so didn't realize. i did ask if anyone would be willing to make a box over at js2 and EmOneGarand stepped up for the challenge, so i simply took him up on his offer. if i recall he was the only one who was interested really at the time. im guessing you don't go to js2 much either so we are in the same boat??

this is no cop off, i have the full blessing of the program creator. this is not a cd release, it is a cartridge and contains over 280 levels, new music and some new sound effects. as you know, cartridges will not fit in a cd case.... also some bugs have been fixed.

Well guys Thursday (19/06/08) is the day!!! At 9pm Thursday night (GMT+0) (UK Time) painter special edition orders will be accepted. Only a limited quantity of these exist so whoever needs / wants one (one per person for special edition) needs to act fast The special edition game will be limited to 20 - 25 copies (numbered on cartridge label and on the game title screen) Due to the freebies I sent out for licensing / help with coding etc there are only 15 remaining (congrats to these select few). If there is demand to consume these 15 and people require it i will produce another 5 to cover these 5 that have been shipped. After this it will be standard versions only. After this initial batch of 15 has gone, some time may pass before I can make any more. This is due to the fact I have no more parts and need to order a rather heavy and costly package of parts from B&C before I can consider making any more carts. we are very close to a release now i hope to make the final touches to the main binary this weekend and start making cartridges next we have fixed several nagging bugs in Gordons code and added an 'egg' more news soon

Hey all, well here is my post i said i would do here, so here goes i am waiting for someone to get back to me with some improvements to the painter source to enable it to save the high score on the cartridge eerpom, i would do this myself however my jaguar programming skills are not up to the task i am afraid. i do dabble but not enough to get this done. apart from this most things are ready for release. the game includes 50 extra levels created by myself and a few dedicated fans from the community. there are a few extra levels created for a special edition though as an extra bonus. the box and manual are done, along with cartridge label. the game will remain 2 meg but you will be able to play 280 levels of line drawing mayhem. this is cramming every little bit we can into the space available. unfortunately at current i only have enough parts to create 8 cartridges. i believe this to be an adequate starting point however more cartridges can be made if there is demand. i have plenty of eproms so it wont be a problem as such. i was involved with a beta release a while back and i made quite a lot of cartridges but the demand wasnt very high, so this time after the initial batch i would like to make this to order, probably a few a week. Gordon who was kind enough to give me permission to release this cartridge version wants to wait before producing a cd version. i believe he might want to sell these his self, so for the moment there will only be a cartridge remake. i will bring more news when i have it
