  1. In two somewhat TV commercials here in the states. There were some Classic Gaming References. One was a Subaru commercial which was about Hand-me-downs. And it featured both a Atari 2600 and a Commodore 64. And the other was a Intel commercial, which featured a Atari 2600 with Space Invaders.
  2. Recent stories from Kotaku: http://kotaku.com/5626541/the-video-game-ad-too-violent-for-print http://kotaku.com/5644433/thats-one-way-to-sex-up-team-tennis
  3. It'd be cool to have one. But I don't know where I would put it right now. But if I ended up with one somehow right now. I'm sure I could find a place to put it and show it off.
  4. You mean Phillips, as in the Philips Videopac G7000? If yes, Then you are mostly right. Those two carts tucked behind that one row of Atari games. (Yes there are two.) Are for the american Odyssey 2. A system I don't own yet.
  5. So I figured it was time to show off my collection. I hope you guys like it (Lots of images warning) Wide shot of the front of my room. You can see my Pepsi shelf I use as my entertainment center. You also get a glimpse of my toe full of wires and controllers on the bottom right. Here's my new 28' Full HD 1080p LCD TV. I also use it as my computer monitor as you can obviously see. My computer behind my TV On the Left, My new Vizio Blu-Ray player and my VCR. On the Right, My PS2 and my new 360 Where I store my extra and/or need to be fixed consoles and related items. One of the two busted up looking N64's shown there surprisingly still works. My new DVD/Game shelf I built last saturday. It's not perfect, but I bet this will last longer than anything Ikea makes! You can see some of my games for my Genesis, Dreamcast, Atari 2600, PS2, Xbox, 360, and Wii. And on my shelf with my Atari games, you can also see my two Odyssey 2 carts. (I sadly don't own a Odyssey 2.) My DVD's are behind the games on the top shelf. And if you look, You can also see my new Toy Story Blu-Ray movie on top of my shelf! My old Commodore Monitor Model 1702. As you can see, it still works great My 3ft "Diet Coke with Lemon" outdoor promotional poster thingy. My Tomb Raider "Lora Croft" action figure. My storage/Display shelf area My Commodore 128 and my Sega Pico. (Not pictured, I also have a commodore 128 power supply and floppy drive) Wide shot of my Middle shelf From top to bottom: My Coleco Telstar Marksman with Box, My Dreamcast and one of my numerous Playstations, My SNES and my NES In this picture, you see my 2 boxed Tac-2 third party controllers for various old systems and computers. You also see the folowing: My NES games and my NES Game Genie, and my "How to win at Game Boy Games" book. You can also see my four boxed Atari 2600 games. Three of which have never been opened. And on top of one of the Tac-2, you can see a Fact 'n' Fractions cart for a Vtech Socrates. Console Wise.... You see one of my Genesis's, my main (original) Xbox, my Atari Flashback 2, and my Sears Video Arcade My desk/side table. I control most of my stuff from here. (Another glimpse of my tote full of wires and controllers in the bottom right.) My workbench. Pretty cluttered, but no projects going currently. You can also see part of my projects tote towards the back and under my Workbench. Thats where I store projects I'm not working on currently. I have a few systems in there such as a Game Gear, PSOne, and a few genesis's. Thats it, thats almost all of my Collection. I think the only system (that wasn't a project) I didn't show was my Vtech Socrates.

  7. I'm about to wash the top half of my 4 Switch Sears Video Arcade in the dishwasher. But I have two concerns. What possibility of damage to the faceplate around the switches do I have? And it will it damage the sliver "Video Arcade" text on the wood grain?
  8. I got a copy of Tony Hawk Underground for $3 at one yard sale on Saturday. And at another yard sale on the same day, got a Zoomer NES controler for $1. I also went to a fee yardsale and got some computer stuff. Among which included a new, never used Pentium 2 Slot One processor. And today someone gave me a PS1 Phat and a Model Helicopter set for free.
  9. I got a good Score today. A friend gave me a Commodore SX-64. It does have one issue. Apparently from when I was taking to someone who knows their Commodores about the one I got today. he said that the Vic-II graphics chip went out on it. So I gotta replace it.
  10. Got some free stuff today A black Gamecube, needs a new disk drive. Came with power and video cables A busted up but working Flashback 2, has a nice hole in it. Now I have 2 of them. I'll probably use this one for a Project. Some random plug in play with 17 games. And a Zip Drive. I'm loaning it to a friend so he can get some data off of his zip disks. if you want to see some pictures, just ask.
