Yea that's a weird one...of the games you mentioned, I only have Gradius but I don't recall seeing an issue with it. I guess that's a good excuse to go play it some more!
When it resets during gameplay, is there a particular point that it happens?

Received my DKA cart today! Says this is an Adam Super Game Pack...I didn't know that. Is this just special packaging, or is this an Adam-only game? Will this work on my ColecoVision with the SGM? Just wondering before I unwrap everything.

I’m still patiently waiting for that email as well.
Having said that though…given all the issues that Fred is having to track down and issue firmware updates for, does anyone have an opinion on whether the HOKEY or a real POKEY is better to use with Concerto? Any benefit of one over the other?

Found these here, $25 each, but "make an offer" and could get them for less. Could be an option? Cheaper than both DigiKey and Mouser. Not sure how many you would be looking to buy.

I don’t think mailing it back will be necessary. Installing a Hokey will be as simple as pushing a chip into a socket.

I just read this entire post, and I thought the same thing: bad cart connector. Bent pins on the inside of the connector, or even cold solder joints on the connector pins on the bottom of the PCB, or both.

That’s correct. As batari has stated in previous replies, there isn't a hardware path to upgrade the memory in pre-production units. I believe he may offer a trade-in program to upgrade to the production version, but please don’t quote me on that.

The POKEY has a socket, you do not need to solder anything. The RAM upgrade is not mandatory if you don't care about support for ROMs up to 1024K. If you choose to upgrade it, you would need to send the cart back to Batari, as three surface mount chips would need to be soldered into place. As far as I know, he is still working on some firmware updates before that upgrade will be ready to go.

I've been waiting for a 7800 multicart for several years now, so this is great news that he is making another batch! Now, to fix my 7800 which I just plugged in last week, and appears to be dead... ? But I suppose that's another topic for another thread!
HOKEY question - maybe I should wait for the other thread, but I'll ask anyway... I have several Atari arcade (coin-op) games in my collection, will the new HOKEY work with those?

FWIW, my FMS6400s came in from Digikey this weekend...so they really exist! Grab em while you can!

DigiKey has them in-stock. 1500 exactly, so maybe they recently got a reel of 2500 and sold 1000 of them to a customer.
I just ordered a small quantity of them...I'll repost when I know if it goes through or not. I wonder where they got 2500 of them?
