  1. I can definitely relate. I'm in a similar situation with my Flashback adapter cables. It feels a bit overwhelming to go through all the PMs and emails that have been sent over the past 2 (3?) years asking for them. I have started back down that road though.
  2. Don’t tell my CC3 that… For whatever reason (alternate ROM version I guess?) I have no problem playing World Series MLB on mine. Even the other ‘real player names’ version works. Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  3. I've only ever said 'fack', or "F-A-Q" (which seems to be the way a lot of folks say it). But you're right, it makes sense for it to be plural. I think @cmart604 says "FAKE"... ? MARE-EE-OH / MAR-EE-OH...?
  4. Thanks for that, sir! Looks like the poll is leaning heavily toward I-N-T-V as the preferred pronunciation.
  5. Speaking of George... there's talk of him being a guest on the show, perhaps participating in Feedback or News.
  6. I feel like I'm more of a douche nozzle, but whatever... You are a man of mystery, sir. I could've sworn in the show you said you refer to INTV Corp as I-N-T-V, and never say INN-TV... Time to isolate another clip for episode 44? ?
  7. I'm really eager to get back into doing the interviews. I have several in the can already, but the list of potential interviewees is quite long now, in large part due to the hard work of the two guys working on the Intellivision book (Tom Boellstorff and Braxton Soderman). Forgot to mention early SNL as another influence. Yep, there was an art to "pause-editing"! Not surprised you were into that too!
  8. That’s what I thought your answer would be. Yes, curious to hear from @mr_intv as well. Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  9. If you think about it, INN-TV actually makes sense, since it’s “Intellivision TV” (and it’s “in your TV”).. but it has always been I-N-T-V to me - and that seemed to be the way folks involved back in the day said it. Guess I need to interview Terry Valeski to confirm 100% Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  10. Look@cmart604… a new variant! Guess I should update the poll. Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  11. ...and I'm sure we'll discuss this in episode 44 of the podcast.
  12. When referring to INTV Corporation, do you pronounce it I-N-T-V (saying all the individual letters one at a time), or do you pronounce it INN-TV (as two words)? I have always said I-N-T-V, but it has come up in the podcast recently, when @cmart604 was saying INN-TV instead of I-N-T-V. He claimed I misheard him, and that he was actually saying INTY, but he was clearly referring to INTV Corporation in the clip I isolated and repeated in episode 43. Now, I'm not saying either one is wrong or right. I think both are fine. I just want to know where the community stands on it? Especially curious to hear from @JasonlikesINTV about how he would say his handle... JASON LIKES INN TV or JASON LIKES I N T V ? Do tell!
  13. Hey, Chris. Somehow I forgot to reply to this one!? It's unfortunate that @cmart604 can't seem to get the pronunciation right with Imagic. In an effort to show him how much he is loved, I will always point it out when he gets it wrong. That's how much I care. Now he's denying that he says "INN-TV" instead of "I-N-T-V" - although I caught him saying it in the last episode (43) and edited together a clip of it. Again, showing the love. And of course there's nothing wrong with saying "INN-TV". I was legitimately asking what 'the community' generally uses more. We should ask @JasonlikesINTV how he pronounces his AA handle. As a kid, my friends and I would put together silly news shows and record them to cassette. I still have those tapes, but have only digitized a few. And I'd make music medleys (mostly Led Zeppelin) using the vinyl records and pausing and un-pausing the tape at strategic points. I also used to listen to a lot of Doctor Demento on the radio as a kid, and I recall radio stations also putting together little bits where they'd tell a story, then drop in snippets of songs to tell parts of the stories. Guess that stuff influenced and stuck with me... like watching too much Monty Python and The Goodies did. That said, we try to balance the silliness / bits with the actual Intellivision content. The ratio varies depending on the episode, of course. I know we'll never please everyone all the time. I appreciate that @Rick Reynolds and @cmart604 allow me the freedom to assemble the episodes as I see fit... probably so they can't be blamed if it turns out shitty! Three times?! Wow, that's a serious time commitment! All I can say is thanks, man!
  14. Thanks, Chris! I never know how long it's going to be until I start putting it together. In one of the episodes.. can't recall which at the moment.. I intentionally extended it just a bit because I had a corrections robot say a number near the end of an episode, without explanation or reason, and the episode ended at exactly that number / time stamp. It may have been an Intellivoice sample saying the number come to think of it... anyway, why did I do that? Because it popped into my head as I was editing (that's how a lot of the little bits happen in the show). Did anyone notice? Not likely. I'm going to do something I haven't done before with episode 44. I'm going to run a timer whenever I'm recording, editing or assembling the episode. I want to see just how many hours go into an episode. I'm not sure what the ratio of production time vs episode length is, but perhaps this will help me narrow it down - assuming I remember to do it, and keep doing it with future episodes.
  15. Count me in for one copy Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  16. Keith Robinson had those in his office years ago. I believe he talked about it in one of the podcast episodes.. don’t recall which, but most likely during a ‘Questions For Keith” segment. It was apparently an oven heat test meant to determine what would happen if you left the components in a hot car for several hours, but someone set the temperature too high and got the ‘Melt-o-vision’ variants you see here. Not even@cmart604 has ones like that. I think they went to the Video Game History Museum in Texas after Keith’s passing. If Steve Roney is reading this thread he can confirm. 17. Quick update. As soon as I get the next episode of Intellivisionaries out (episode 43 - this month) I'll be contacting folks about the cables.
  18. Does that mean you don't currently have copies? Color me stunned if that's the case!
  19. I don't remember, but it wasn't many. According to some quick searches only 2 issues, but I seem to recall more than that? I'll try to make some time to check my collection in the garage this weekend. Pretty sure I have a complete or near-complete set of Atari Age magazine as well (not affiliated with this fine website, of course)
  20. Very cool! I subscribed as a kid, and I still have all the issues (along with the membership card).
  21. Where do you hang it now, in the bathroom? Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  22. One time = mistake. You’ve well exceeded that at this point. And for the record, I take oral hygiene very seriously, so there’s no dirt in my mouth. Cue ‘other things in mouth’ reply by @cmart604 in 3… 2… 1… Sent from unspecified hardware using indeterminate software
  23. Correct! And the programmer interview with Pat Ransil has already been recorded. And for the record, @cmart604, he doesn't say "EYE-magic" either. ?
  24. Two hints: It involves a legendary underwater lost city, guns, and a flying saucer Neither @Tommy Tallarico nor @cmart604 can pronounce the name of the company correctly
