I have only used these pins with these housings. I don't know if they would work with the "green L" connectors, but based on your pin example, I would think not.

For my Flashback controller adapters, I ended up using a different type of pin, but it works perfectly. All parts are from Mouser. The pins come on a roll, so you have to cut them out, but it’s not difficult. They are crimp on, but I solder them (slightly bending up the crimp connectors on the wire-side before soldering so they slide into the housing easier). I’ll follow up with more info / part numbers later, but I use parts from Mouser (the housing and the pins) in my Flashback Controller Adapter cables for the original / 2609 console.
