  1. Please put me down for a copy.
  2. Best use for a 5200: https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxiiVzHhqUI26jA1RrmBHdNVtgjUT9jsov
  3. DigiKey has a few options that might be what you need: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/littelfuse-inc/03420838H/17927 https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/littelfuse-inc/03420828H/17925
  4. I do not understand why this topic keeps recurring on here... Never had a bad experience buying from Best/ Brad in 35 years.
  5. Sold this guy three 8-bit carts recently. A very pleasant transaction with great communication and prompt payment. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with Darryl in the future.
  6. Bump. Prices lowered.
  7. I've had two Trooper II joysticks... I like the feel of them, very much like a CX-40, but I broke the first one within a week and the second within a month. Debating whether or not to try a third. The stick itself is a piece of plastic that screws into the base, and both times the stick snapped off right at the threads. I'm not a particularly aggressive or violent player and this makes me question the quality. Trying to devise a more robust solution to rebuild the one I have.
  8. Ah.. November '85 was the second issue of Compute! my 12-year-old self ever owned. (October was the first) Very fond memories of the game Puzzler and the series on P/M graphics. It was a wonderful time.
  9. There are an awful lot of Centipede clones out there... Ten years ago (what?!) I really enjoyed the 'Millipede Madness' round in the High Score Club.
  10. 5200 Centipede is awesome, Millipede is even better.
  11. My favorite 8-bit cart style is the modern XL/XE style reproduction used for Laura, Flob, Last Squadron, Scramble, onEscape.. and others. Looks great and fits every 8-bit, including the 800 and 1200XL. BITD, the Activision carts were amazing for their small form factor, nice grippy sides and large picture labels. Also can't fault the old-school brown/metal Atari carts.
  12. 1. Ultimate Cart 2. SIO2PC 3. Atari 1050 w/ mini Super Speedy and call me old-school, but: 4. Commodore 1702 color monitor 5. Suncom TAC-2 joystick (runner-up? Competition Pro 1000) Way too many internal upgrades to name, but PokeyMAX, APE 32-in-1 OS module, Incognito are def in the running.
  13. Kudos for detecting NTSC-50 systems properly!
  14. @reifsnyderb When the ABBUC contest is over and the appropriate conversations have been had, any chance of this being included in your new OS?
  15. I can't believe that it's 2023 and this is just now happening. Well done. Atari should've built this into the 1200XL instead of the useless Fuji rainbow screen, or into the other XLs and XEs as part of the self test code.
  16. The package says that it is for PAL systems, but it plays fine on my NTSC XEGS. Text is in English.
  17. Bump. Pricing changes.
  18. Jeremiah purchased a few 8-bit carts from me. Very nice guy to make a deal with and paid promptly.
  19. Plays great on an NTSC-50 (native NTSC with a PAL ANTIC chip) machine.
  20. Bump. Lowered prices.
  21. "RB" refers to Reverse BASIC. Hold OPTION when booting to ENable BASIC. Not sure about "P". PAL video standard perhaps?
