    Hitchhiker's Guide is my favorite for introducing me to the franchise. I was not aware of the books before I found the game, and I then read the entire (at the time four)-book trilogy. Mostly Harmless came later. I also really got into Planetfall, which was the first text adventure I finished on my own.

    I adore the Mini Super Speedy 1050. Double density, massive speed increase and a nifty high-speed copy mode, all at a very reasonable price and very easy installation.

    Well, 20 or so of those games have already made it to the Atari 8-bits. And a few others (New Rally-X and?) have been attempted/ begun... so that narrows it down a little. Class of '81 really was a golden year for arcade games. Lots of standout classics.

    The US Postal Service is getting creative with the ways they mutilate the mail. Here's how my #146 and #147 arrived. Of course both disks are missing. I was surprised to receive them at all, as I hadn't paid my renewal yet. This served as a reminder, and payment was just sent tonight.

    I always wondered why the 'ribbed' carts were molded in XE grey and released so late. The styling clearly adheres the XL design language. Were those cases intended for 1983 production and somehow got shelved?

    $20 for a loose Donkey Kong Jr isn't completely out of line... Other than that, yeah he's a tad optimistic.

    Sky Jinks or Fishing Derby would be awesome.. My personal favorite old 2600 Activision game was Pressure Cooker. Not a demand or even a request.. a suggestion of something you might want to check out and see if *you are into.
