Why the fuck, do new kettles these days need a damn switch to turn on??? I remember back in the days all you needed to do was plug the bastard in and Bada Bing Bada boom! Done! I waited 25 mins for this thing to boil..."while staring at it" only to realize I didn't flick the switch! I need a hug.

  I do need a new...Well I never had a kettle...But I have one of those 2 cup water boilers!...What are those deals called?...Mine,,, well lemme look...OK It just says SUNBEAM. My SUNBEAM works but the lever to pour the water broke off so ya put in water and when The light goes off, you put a cup underneath, open the top and jam a fork or knife in there so the water pours...Of course it also leaks out all over the counter most of the time so you gotta be careful.
