  1. Hallelujah! Fonzie has finally come home! It took a little longer than I'd first imagined to set up delivery but the Fonz is now resting comfortably in my garage. Can hardly believe it has finally arrived. A huge, huge thanks to my friend Keith for selling and delivering this rare fun game to me. It is working 100% and is in very nice condition. Here are some pics: http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/fonzfront2.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/fonzfront.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/fonzright.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/fonzleft.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/demo5.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/demo3.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/demo1.jpg http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/fatherpain/fonz%20arcade%20game/demo4.jpg On a side note, I met a nice couple that are huge arcade collectors. They own a Fonz machine as well! They said their Fonz isnt currently working and needs some cosmetics work but its neat to know there are other Fonz collectors out there...we are legion! ;P Unfortunately I do not have a video camera (hopefully soon) so I am unable to post a gameplay video to youtube. If someone in SoCal would be willing to cruise over, record it and upload, please lmk. Tom
  2. Yeah it's sneaky on my part..my wife doesn't know a thing about arcade games other than she dislikes them and I have alot of them in the garage. Unless she's taken an inventory, Fonz should blend in with rest, lol. Still awaiting delivery, which I'm hoping will take place this week.
  3. Quick update: Fonz has been paid for. Now awaiting delivery, which can only take place when my wife isn't home. Mebbe next week
  4. Oh Vicar of the Fonz temple...your enduring faith and devotion may yet be rewarded. Not only will I soon be in possession of a mint, original Fonz machine...mayhap the last of its kind (just saw it Friday and its beautiful even though it was stuffed way back in a storage unit...but a friend thinks he maybe able to deseminate the teachings of Arthur Fonzarelli to the masses one day, if you know what I mean. Tom
  5. It's been about a year since I've played it, but from what I recall the more you rev the throttle, the higher Fonz rides up the screen..the road twists and there are other motorcyclists to avoid, which is harder when Fonz is close to the top but that's how you score higher points. The points can reach a maximum even with time remaining, which was a bummer, but another friend thinks he can mod the score counter so it conitinue until the timer truly runs out which would make the game a great party competition game. The graphics are BW. The handle bars shake violently if you hit an obstacle. As for sound, it has an 8 track player with the orig tape. I think it's music rather than game effects but not certain. The same modder bud thinks we can install an mp3 player in it for random rock n roll music to enhance the coolness factor as if the Fonz really needed any extra...Aaaaaaaayyyy!
  6. Yes it's definitely the fonz arcade cab with the motorcycle handlebars. It looks exactly like the one pictured in klov. Same mint condition. My friend had it running everytime he hosted a gamenight and it was a blast. That along with the love shown towards Fonz in this thread is what's prompted me to take a chance on this game. It's not going to be cheap
  7. A friend is downsizing his collection and I'll be getting his fully working, nice original 1976 Fonz arcade cab soon. If any of you are local to me (socal) and would like to try it or have pix of the game sent lmk does anyone know how many were made or still exist? Tom
