Does anyone want to break this tie?

Cart works fine now post-reassembly. Pretty minimal damage to the label. Used a hair dryer to loosen the glue enough to get at the screw.

A little hard to believe they didn’t test these at all… BUT maybe they installed the PCBs backwards during cart assembly? EDIT: Confirmed this is exactly what happened.

Good news: I got my Aquaventure cart today. Box, cart, and manual look nice. Bad news: The cart doesn’t seem to work. Tried it so far on my 7800 and 5200 with adapter. Guess I should try hooking up a 2600, but I’m not at all optimistic that will make a difference. Don’t love the manual contents either. Not only is there no explanation of the game variations, but the game factoids section is incomplete. (See photo) EDIT: Looks like I’m just confirming Mockduck’s findings. Wow, unbelievable that the non-working carts are so widespread.

Sure, for this one, feel free to snap the pic whenever you want within the game. Very few are going to be able to successfully conquer that second round, and it's not like you can just burn through your lives in this game like you can with most others. I'm right there with you, by the way. The first round is fun, but the second is way beyond my meager platforming skills.

If I recall correctly, it does feel sluggish early on compared to the arcade game, but that changes as you advance through the levels. In any case, there's no way to change the speed other than by selecting a different starting level.
