Alleyway is brilliant. Possibly my most played GB game, along with Revenge of the Gator.

The top one is from LostWinds.

Although I was really only alive for the N64 era, I snagged a 2600 with Air Sea Battle and played the hell out out with a friend. Still remains one of my favorites.

Hello, is this game any good or bad? The reveiws I've read seem to be a mixed bag of opinion about the game. Is $10 too much for it? Just curious as I just traded a bunch of stuff for a Lynx II and two games and a car power adapter and am anxious to get games for it. Also who is the cheapest anyone has found for games besides going the fleabay route? Thanks! Love that Lynx!
Steel Talons is a fun game if you can look past the excessive choppiness. Nothing that'll keep you glued to the screen, but pretty good in short bursts.
I would reccomend trying to get in a lot, which might save you the pain of duplicates. It seems most of the good lots on ebay have this game in them.

I would definitely pay $250 for one if it was done well enough.
-
I also got the Mortal Kombat movie on VHS for $0.50, and a walkman with a Rick Astley tape for $2.75.
I don't know if I would have admited to the Rick Astley part

Mainly for the laughs.

Although it was immediately killed off by the Walkman, rather unfortunately.

I picked the N64 version up a few years ago . Never got far. I should give it another go this weekend.

The first one that comes to mind is Pitfall for the Jag. There's something about that game that makes me sick to my stomach.

Edited out, just because.

I've been watching this guy plenty lately. I disagree with almost everything he says, but it's still amusing to watch him rant about consoles he doesn't fully understand.
Some things annoy me, though. Like the fact that he reviewed the Lynx with one game and the whole bias against cartridges thing.
-
Meh. Either way, it's a fun game.

-
There's one on eBay right now, but I don't know what it's worth.
That happens to be the one I'm watching right now.

I've been playing a bit of the game on Handy, and was wondering how much the game usually goes for as an original prototype (Not a repro). What would generally be a fair price to pay?
-
I don't play the DS much, but I prefer the original models to the lights. They're more comfortable in my hands, and they seem to be a bit sturdier.
-
Very nice! ^_^ Goes well with the white Jaguar casings.

I bought a Lynx 1 with California Games, Blue Lightning, Paperboy, and Blue Lightning at Goodwill for $15 a few years ago. Didn't get to play it until recently, though, because I had been inserting the cartridge backwards.
I seriously need some new games for it, though. I've got some pretty shallow pockets being underage, but I'm planning to get a couple more in a few weeks.

If it had a 32X attachment.
The question wasn't about a retro re-release, but a contemporary and on par with today's consoles system. 32x on a new system would be nice, though, tectoy ought to do something like that.
Nathan
You do realize that was a joke, right? I'm all for a new Sega console.

So, I was thinking of building a setup similar to the original Lynx Kiosk, and was wondering what games had the best multiplayer, or more simply, what games were compatible with ComLynx? Sorry if this was posted somewhere else.

Breakout and Haunted House might be good choices, although I'm not sure about the difficulty as I haven't played them for a while and my TV is currently occupied.

Will an Odyssey 2 start without a cartridge?

Self explanatory. Just purchased on with no games, and was wondering if it will show any signs of life without a cartridge.
