@Charlie CatIt's Monday, where are you?

Okay Garfield, send him in.
-
Oh Garfield....Jon wants to have a discussion with you.

Thank you for posting these, @Charlie Cat. It's become part of my morning ritual lately to log in to AtariAge and check out your Garfield post of the day. 😁

Great phone prank Garfield.

You want more Garfield?

Awesome story @Charlie Cat.
So, I went to show the above Youtube video to my daughter and was sorely disappointed that it ends abruptly. So I did a little detective work and found the full episode here, the Picnic Panic segment starting at 15:55. Just thought you might want to watch the full thing.

Since I now have a working Vectrex again (YES!!), last night I revisited my original Youtube streaming style that I started doing in March 2020. It is called "Saturday Night Vectrex in the Dark." Like the title suggests, I play Vectrex games...in the dark!
I had so much fun and the stream was heavily watched by my small channel's standards! I will definitely do this again. I'm thinking of doing it the first Saturday of every month. Love that unique and crazy machine.
A glimpse at my Youtube stats shows how much more popular this stream was compared to my other videos/streams, in terms of hours watched! I've been over the moon today after the stream's success. Which is good because otherwise I'd be "blah" because I have to go back to work after two weeks off. ?

I think you meant to reply to a different status update, @Max_Chatsworth. ?
But regarding the Christmas lights, I am not strict personally. Whenever someone gets around to it within reason, I say. I did live across the street from someone who NEVER took them down though, and that just looks lazy. They just didn't turn them on until the Christmas season.

My sist--errr I mean Santa Claus got me a neat Neo Geo-related gift today for Christmas: it's the Magician Lord Original Soundtrack on vinyl by Wayô Records. Magician Lord features one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time, and I've been bitten by the vinyl-collecting bug recently, so that works out nicely. Thanks Santa. ?
Merry Christmas, everyone!

@Charlie Cat it's really beautiful to see the cover artwork in such a large form, and the rear side art is something I've never seen before. I love the translucent disc as well.
My only complaint is the disc itself looks like it has a bunch of small nicks in it. I haven't had a chance to listen yet but, but I hope these nicks don't affect the audio. If you zoom in on the last pic you can see them. For example there's a few right next to the center label, at about 9 o'clock. And more at the very outer edge of the disc at about 2 o'clock.

The Neo-Geo digital versions of Xeno Crisis from Bitmap Bureau are now available. It's on post #28,417 to view and more to see underneath.

Youtube sent me my 2021 stats for my small gaming Youtube channel, Mark W and Rob Bob Present. Most of my content consists of livestreams: I play emulated retro games on Mondays at about 9:00pm - that stream is called "Monday MAME," and a random PC gaming stream (new and old games) typically played with my son known as Rob Bob, called "Saturday Night Gaming" also at around 9:00pm. Other than that I have some videos of random kinds of gaming, even non-video games such as Tunnels & Trolls gamebooks. I also have uploaded two videos of the game show I was on in 1991, Video Power.
I look at the "Thank you for your 502 likes, 233 comments" stats and think, probably about 50 of each of those numbers are from our very own @Charlie Cat ! I always get comments from him a day or two after my livestreams, as he watches the archives, and he always leaves such a nice comment that makes me feel good about what I'm doing here! So huge thanks to Anthony and anyone else here who might watch and interact. For me it's all about just that - the fun and interaction. I have no delusions about making it big and I don't ever plan to monetize with ads. (BTW, sometimes Youtube throws in ads anyway and only they make money from them!)
Ah well, at any rate here are some of the neat stats!

In Garfield's strips, there's a dog that never received an official name from Jim Davis. He's known as, "The Big Vicious Dog". He's been featured since the mid-1990's, and his strips with Garfield are quite humorous.
Here's one to show what I mean.
-
Absolutely! The humor in that show was off the chart for me as a preteen.
I used to record it on VHS every Saturday morning, in fact, for at least a year or so. I was familiar the main writer, Mark Evanier, from his previous work on the comic Groo The Wanderer which I also loved. I wasn't even much of a comic book kid, but Groo was hilarious to me.

Did you know that AtariAge member @NeonPeon was a contestant on the show Video Power and had the chance to win a Neo-Geo AES. Did he win it? Here's the video to find out. 8^)
-
Hmmm. Tough choice for sure. But can't blame this guy for playing Neo-Geo instead.

In 1991, AtariAge member @NeonPeon was on Video Power (starring Johnny Arcade) as a contestant to win cool prizes including a brand new Neo-Geo. Did he win it? Welp, here's the video to find out. Also, NeonPeon stopped by the Neo-Geo thread to discuss that day as well on page 1010, post #25,250.
