  1. This Multi-cart and a CCE Dragon Treasure are the only Brazilian carts I own. The cart contains Bobby is Going Home, Spiderman, Superman, and Frankenstein's Monster. You switch between the games via 2-way switches on the sides of the cart.
  2. Anyone else do it? Nothing beats playing Mangia and Bobby is Going Home at 100 inches. Also, on a non-Atari note, Easy Rider looks great:
  3. Sneek n' Peek is pure quality. I think it may be even possible to hide underneath the sidewalk in front of the house, I managed to do it once.
  4. I was planning on bringing something like this up. I've been wanting to use my Atari with a new projector I got, but currently there is no way to hook it up, as the projector has no coax, it just has s-video, composite, component, and vga. Any suggestions on an easy way to hook an Atari up? Will I need some sort of converter?
  5. Great find, a few of those games are pretty hard to find. Lost luggage is excellent. There is a store around here that sells Atari games for a quarter each, mostly common ones, but who cares about that, most good games are common ones.
  6. I doubt it's a prank, the screenshots and cartridge look pretty legit too me. Has anyone ever tried to pull a proto hoax in the past?
  7. I understand you guys are talking about bad companies, but in terms of a bad cartridge label design, "Off the Wall" is probably the worst Atari put out. It looks like it was done with colored pencils, not to mention the art itself is just terrible. From that damn flaming "M", to the distressed Japanese guy with the bent wrist, it's just hideous. And a little bit more on topic, Froggo games aren't that bad, they "are" playable. Mr. Postman has to be the crappiest game I can think of. Also Joust isn't too much fun.
  8. It may be forever lost in that guy's garage.
  9. Ha, They say "Spectacular Videogame" on them.
  10. I thought I would give it a go. Given that you don't really know what a wumpus is exactly, I decided it looked it's a gigantic walking stick. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whoops, I guess you do kind of see it in the game, and it's definitely not a walking stick, oh well, I had a good time making these.
  11. Wow, very impressive. I can't get into Dig Dug at all, I've never gotten any enjoyment out of it.
  12. Oooooh... Farmyard-Fun kicks ass.
  13. The gameplay is nothing short of abysmal. It has nothing on "Bobby is Going Home" in the terrible, bizarre games vein.
  14. Get a console and get going on that Entombed, it kicks ass.
  15. Man, I hate MADTV so much.
  16. Surround kicks Warlords' ass. Is Warlords the only "true" 4-player game for the 2600?
  17. Other than the music, I find the gameplay just plain bad. Would be better with a trak-ball I assume.
  18. I 'm not sure what you guy's mean by abstract, but Yar's Revenge is pretty "off". I wish there was more than two types of shield variations, otherwise it's a good game.
  19. Ha, it has quite a lot of alternate titles, "Bobby Go Home" being the best. I know it sucks, but hopefully I can get a copy of it sometime soon. I need to see Bobby's home.
  20. I saw a copy of "Bobby is Going Home" in a cartridge lot on ebay recently. I've played the rom a few times and it's abviously a terrible game, but how rare is it? Anybody know anything at all about it? Was the copy on ebay probably pal?
  21. I highly doubt that leaving carts in the console could be harmful.
  22. NO ESCAPE, hands down, an amazing game. or possibly Kaboom or Sneak'n Peak
  23. Generally my reaction as well... I also can't get into the whole Chopper Command-ish games either.
  24. Exactly, and from what I have seen, the majority of the good games for the 2600 are Activision. I have a Pressure Cooker cart that only works after I take in in and out about 4-5 times, then if it is working I can't bump the console or it will lock up.
