  1. You're welcome . I'm glad it made someone so happy . Bingo. That's very interesting. Can you change the account to family though after it's been a single user account for a few years? Mine has been active.. oh let's see... since I believe the beginning of the DS days. Either way, it's not like I "need" it. I have more points than I know what to do with anyway. Call me silly, but I just refuse to waste coins on games that while I like, are on the Wii side for the Wii U, and not the Wii U's VC. I just... don't ever want to go into that mode, frankly. It's horribly inconvenient, and I honestly like the U's controllers better .
  2. I get that, but they get more sales in North America and Europe combined, where consoles are king, than they do portables in Japan. So while I get that they want to cater to their people, if they work as a company, ...that wants money..., wouldn't it make sense to cater to the area that generates the most sales, which by car is the console oriented market. Either way, it shouldn't be "either or". Nintendo should hire more people then, so that both portable and console can enjoy a steady stream of titles. Here's to hoping their next gen game is a combination of console and portable, so neither suffer.
  3. First come, first served. Below is a code for Animal Crossing on the 3DS. If you want the points, it's yours. I can't register it as I've registered the same game (different copy) in the past. MCT-DV4W-PWJL-4RC
  4. To be fair, StarFox is another future release that's on my radar after Smash Brother's release. But plainly put, that's about it for now, other than small releases. The 3DS seems to be getting the games I think should be on the dang Wii U instead. I love my Wii U. Mario Kart 8 is a bloody hoot. But I just hate having to wait 6 months for a new game. I prefer Nintendo games to "mainstream games" (although, I still play them. Destiny for instance is very nice), but I just hate waiting for Nintendo to not only make games but ones I care about. For instance, Nintendo wants sales, right? I have the perfect solution. Like Mario Kart, Nintendo has a few other franchise which CHURN money like no other. Animal Crossing and Pokemon. Seriously, make a damn Animal Crossing game for the Wii U already (not 2016 or later, that's too late), and for the love of all that's good, make a full fledged Pokemon game for consoles. No "Stadium", no "Snap", no buy-these-cute-figurines-for-this-mind-numbingly-boring-cash-in-title like Rumble. Just, a real Pokemon game, with Mario Kart level graphics, online play.. and that's about it! Heck, they could even make freakin' cards that are scannable on on the NPC reader. People collect Pokemon cards, and now they give you Pokemon in the game! It's like DLC for Nintendo. Seriously, this goes against what "I" want. I would want an F-Zero game. Or a Kirby game. But those aren't dynamite sellers. Those won't bring in people by the boatload. Those two titles would, and it shocks me that we haven't heard of their existence yet.
  5. Looking for a used, complete set. eBay has crazy prices, and while Best Buy offers decent used prices, it's site unseen as it's shipped to the store (has no mention of case and manual). So I figured I'd try my luck here. Thanks in advance. PM me if you have an offer.
  6. Has anyone else noticed this game being in demand in brick and mortar stores? My local gamestop and best buy were sold out. I had to (sadly...) venture into Wal-Mart, where the electronics area employee who got the game from the case told me he's been selling a lot of the game recently. He didn't seem to know what it was, nor have much gaming knowledge, but he singled that game and that game alone that has been really hard to keep stock of. I know this did well in Japan. Has it been doing as well as it appears in the US?
  7. I play my 3DS. I guess you could say I collect for it, but I don't see it that way yet. I do have a Pikachu 3DS XL now, though. It's the system I use as my main 3DS. I just keep it protected by leaving it in the stock pouch it came packaged in. I don't really take my handhelds anywhere. I just play at home. So it's enough to keep the dust off it. I don't really display my portables. For that matter, I don't really display my systems. I used to, but I found it was too annoying to re-hook up everything / keep them dust free. Now i have shelving and closed cabinets for everything to sit in. The systems that won't get damaged easily like the Xbox One, sits on the shelf. Systems like my PC Engine Duo R sit in the cabinet hooked up, ready to play, but out of direct sun light / dust fall. I don't use screen protectors on my portables. I did at first, but I found all it did was tick me off. All I'd see were bubbles, and the stylus on the protector didn't feel the same. I can't say I've ever scratched any touch screen or portable screen since the original GameBoy, so I'd assume those are for people who really lay into their gaming equipment. That's .. not me. I've restarted my 3DS collection recently when I sold my last XL. But I got this boxed Pikachu edition cheap at the same time I started wanting some new releases. Currently, I don't have much, but I have Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life, and Kirby Triple Deluxe, all of which I got on sale today. I also picked up a DS copy of Kirby Super Star Ultra for cheap.
  8. Yeah, but the small amount of money they lose a year on look-a-like-season-pass-borrowers has to be less than the price of sacrificing your customer's privacy. Like I said before, I refuse to do this.. doesn't matter who the company is. Even if it was Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony. Then I just wouldn't play modern games until it turned around. I will never forfeit something not even the freakin police need unless I'm a criminal to a bloody company.
  9. Ok everyone, I have REALLY good news. The guy I bought this from in Japan agreed to let me exchange this unit for a new one. Not only did he give me my money back on the shipping to have it returned, but I already have the replacement unit here in my hands! And I'm shocked! Not only is this thing in near mint condition (better than my last one by far) with no yellowing or dirt (seriously, not a spec, not even in the disc drive bay), but it also came with the original box, styrofoam, baggies, etc!!!! The last one didn't even come with any of that! Heck, the controller was still sealed in the box, with the system wrapped in its original foam sleeve! No pieces are missing from the styrofoam either! Needless to say I'm on cloud nine, and it makes an incredible deal even more unbelievable, as I got the system for a good price for a loose system, none the less one in a box. I need to test it further, but I think this will be my new Duo R. Couldn't be happier
  10. I'd rather give the games away than give away my finger print. I don't even want the police to have it. Why the hell would I give it to GameStop. I know the iPhone started this bs craze, but I won't buy any product from a company who wants that in exchange.
  11. And the cdx is gone. I'll update the page after work to reflect that. Editing posts on a phone is a nightmare.... Officially looking for 3ds games now so that's up on the block for trades. Might have a couple 3do games posted soon.
  12. Thanks Hyperboy Btw, free shipping in the continental 48.
  13. Per a user's request. More pictures of the CDX.
  14. This is from my personal collection, and I've had it since the 90's. Sega CDX for sale in great condition. A couple scratches, but otherwise in amazing shape. Comes with the original 6 button controller, original CDX power adapter, rf and av cords, and .... the original CDX branded leather carrying case! CD unit, cart unit, etc. works perfect (of course), as do the power lights/orange backlight. It's a great system for a great price. $250 Region modded model 2 Sega Saturn Netlink bundle. Comes with region modded system (plays any region's game), sealed copy of Sega Rally Netlink Edition, Virtual On Netlink Edition, and a Netlink unit with original box and phone cord, along with the rare PS/2 keyboard adapter that lets you use a keyboard in the player 2 joystick port. Even non-netlink games make use of this adapter. Comes with cords and original Model 2 Sega controller. Even through in some loose games like Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 1 and more. $100 Trades welcome. Looking for PC Engine CD games, N64 games and maybe NGage. Thanks.
  15. Legendary edition is just fine for me. As much as I want the ghost edition, realistically I don't have the space for that huge box or the statue for that matter. So it all worked out haha. Either way, this week has been hard without it. Going to be a loooong month.
  16. Yesterday. No offense but with Mario kart alone how could you let it stay unplayed forbeven a week?
  17. For a knife? What does that have to do with anything? Haha. Seriously I don't get the demand for useless clutter. Give me the game and extra content. Keep your cheap toys.
  18. Look on eBay. $700 plus for the ghost edition. Those are bids no less. Freaking nuts. The day I spend half a grand more on a game just for a statue is the day I don't want to be in this green earth anymore haha.
  19. http://www.gaikokugamers.com/2014/07/destiny-limited-editions-selling-out.html?m=1 Links in the article. Only Xbox one and old gen limited editions available through best buy. GameStop is sold out.
  20. No clue. To my knowledge, it was only released in Japan. I know for a fact there are tons of people in North America who would buy this for 35 bucks, so I don't get why it's not been released here. It's almost like they used Japan as a test bed, it didn't do well, so they decided to just can it. Maybe in Japan when your living room is the size of my dining room, it's easier to leave the gamepad plugged in, but here in the States it's horribly inconvenient to have a 3 hour battery life. Like I said, get it while it lasts. Trust me, the 3000mAh knock offs are a huge risk, so don't bother. That and they don't even perform like you'd expect them to even when they do work. And the Nyko ones die in less than a year, and have horrible reviews. The product is so "crap" that they don't even sell the thing anymore. So this is basically you're only option. Even if you don't think you need it today, I implore all of you AA guys to pick one up as their resale value is through the roof, and you'll likely not be able to afford one in the future.
  21. http://www.gaikokugamers.com/2014/07/nintendos-2550mah-wii-u-battery.html I wrote a quick article on our site with pictures of the Japanese released battery upgrade for the Wii U gamepad. If you've been on the fence with purchasing the official 2550mAh battery, wait no longer. I'm not sure how long these batteries will be offered, so I'd get them while you can. The battery fills the battery bay, doesn't add any noticeable weight, and gives your gamepad a boost of twice the battery life. Play-Asia still has it in stock, for now. But I do know that their sale is "clearance". Not sure if it's a perminant discontinue, or temporary, but considering it's the only place to buy them without spending a couple hundred bucks (eBay/Amazon), it's well worth two Jacksons to get shipped to your door. Enjoy!
  22. I got it in the mail . WOW. It's in "like new" condition. Manual looks new, foam looks new, and the system and controllers look like they were made yesterday, I'm not even kidding you. It's weird, as ours was all yellowed, but to see it again like this is a shock to the system. I doubt this was ever taken out of the box, haha. The cords are even still tied up.
  23. Here's to hoping the Wii U and PC's community is better. I can't stand playing Forza 5 on my Xbox One online. I NEVER find people who play like they should. And when you do, there's always someone who joins the room and ruins it for everyone. I find it much worse than the GT community, where most rooms at least make a good effort (plus the fact they have the power to boot people and make specific rooms, which certain helps, and is something Forza lacks). It's sad really, as I like Forza better, but I really wish they took a page from GT's online infrastructure. Hopefully this game will be too "hard core" for the casual idiot to ruin. Time will tell. Here's to hoping they at least allow you to kick people from a room.
  24. Did they ever patch sonic and Sega? Last I had the game I couldn't do certain levels because they were glitches.
