  1. I installed it myself. I installed it pre-Covid so it's that old.
  2. I ran the update but it seems to error out. I get a bunch of 404 not found error messages. I didn't see an "Optional Packages" anywhere in the menu unless I have to successfully run an update first.
  3. How do you get games from Champ to run on Retropie? None of the demos work. I'm guessing a different emulator needs to be used but I'm unsure of how to get this to work on Retropie. If someone has the patience for detailed instructions I'd appreciate it.
  4. The closest arcade for me is 90 minutes away. And they don't have any of the rare games I like to play. They have all common games that I can play on my Raspberry Pi.
  5. Have you ever played Satan Of Saturn?
  6. I think my high in MAME using an XBOX controller is around 57K. I put up a higher score at a Funspot tournament on an actual cabinet - around 75K I think. I watched John McAllister put up over 200K on it while I was waiting in line to play it. The key to getting a high score is to keep your ship moving at the most difficult levels to stay away from the missiles. I love this game and can play it over and over again. I wish this game were more common so I could play an actual cabinet instead of in MAME.
  7. You have to complete each wave before more ships appear. After you complete each wave in a timely fashion you're presented with a screen to choose your power-up and then you earn your bonus points. You should choose 12:00, 3:00 and then 9:00 (which gives you triple bullets). You will not necessarily be stuck with the third power-up for the rest of the game because it is possible to complete that wave before more ships appear and you'll again be presented with the power-up screen.
  8. I discovered this game on my Retropie the other night. It has the potential to be an addictive game. But does anyone have any tips on how to kill the enemies? I know you're supposed to kill them with the seesaws but I'm having trouble executing this maneuver.
  9. I remember when my mall arcade got this. Huge crowd of people standing around the cabinet watching people play. I could never get on it.
  10. Not a good game for the HSC. You can easily run up your score by falling off the branches and collecting more points indefinitely. No timer either.
  11. iTunes sells AAC, not MP3. I still download from iTunes if I want singles only. Everything else I buy the CD and rip it into ALAC or download FLAC from Bandcamp if it's available.
  12. I've been trying to get in touch with iesposta on here and on Facebook. According to his profile here he hasn't been active for over 2 years. Just wondering if he's OK and posting here because he works on VCS games.
