  1. I watched the video and cannot comprehend WTF is going on in Sssnake
  2. For me it's equally storage and convenience. I guess in that respect I have the gift of not getting attached to this stuff. I recently put up all my pinball machines for sale and people were like "dude, you're getting rid of all your pinball machines that's crazy" and I was like they're just pinball machines it's not like I'm selling my dogs or anything.
  3. I don't recognize half the people that post status updates

  4. I'm one to disagree. I'm in the minority that I prefer to own the music instead of using a streaming service like Spotify so that I can stream from my own Plex music library commercial free. My library contains bootlegs and other releases that aren't available on a service like Spotify. Having said all that, I will buy the CD if I can't get it on iTunes. But as soon as I get the CD, I'll rip it, upload it to my NAS, do a library scan in Plex and throw the CD in a tub. To me the music is the most important. In the long run, I may be spending more dough than if I actually paid for a sub to Spotify. But my music collection has been in the works since the 80s and not yet ready to abandon it.
  5. How many people making games today do that as their sole source of income and are under tight schedules?
  6. Yeah but what happens if you cancel the sale? Does it go to the next highest bidder? Or do you have to go through the whole bidding process for another week and relist the item?
  7. So what you're telling me now with every sale that I have to check the address in Paypal versus what eBay is telling me? Swell. Then what do I do if they're different?
  8. I don't know about that. What was great about the ColecoVision were ports of both popular and not-so-popular (but fun) arcade games. I played the crap out of Carnival, Mouse Trap, Venture and Donkey Kong on the ColecoVision BITD. They were all great games for the time. But I get your point that Atari should have moved forward with a console that was backward compatible out of the box with the 2600. By the time the Atari 7800 came out, I lost interest in video games pretty much anyway and started playing pinball instead. One more comment on 2600 Pac-Man: I don't want to attack Tod Frye, but I was amazed in watching an interview with him where he was totally oblivious to the expectations of porting Pac-Man to the 2600. He came across as not seeing any of its shortcomings as a big deal. He made a lot of money off of it though.
  9. Sold all my consoles and multicarts for a RetroPie. Takes up less space and less money.
  10. If that 8K Pac-Man would've come out back in 82 it would've been the highest selling 2600 cartridge of all time.
  11. I enjoy Pac-Man Arcade and the 8K Pac-Man on the Atari 2600. Pac-Man Collection for the 7800 is really good too.
  12. I can't think of any other shitty game ever released that I have more hatred for. 2600 Pac-Man sucks in every phase of the game.
  13. His Paypal address and the address in eBay matched. I got a message from the buyer this morning saying that his courier received the package. I blocked the buyer from future auctions so I don't have to deal with this again. I will add signature confirmation for anything over $250.
  14. I went to the bar the other night for practice on Jurassic Park and I was not able to do post transfers. I guess I'll have to shoot the ramps in order to pass to the other flipper.
  15. Just did that and says there's no signature on file for the item. In the end, I feel I shouldn't be on the hook for this.
  16. Your very next purchase should only be Vector Pilot, the greatest home brew ever made.
  17. Just looked at my post office receipt which lists the zip code as 33192.
  18. Just blocked him for future auctions. He doesn't have any negative feedback in the past year though. Luckily what I sold him wasn't that pricey.
  19. Just looked at his profile. He's located in Peru. I use the Global Shipping option too, but how does that prevent this from happening? The buyer used an American shipping address after all.
  20. The address I used was what was reported by eBay as the buyer's address. Looking at the tracking info the package was delivered to zip code 33172. Paypal and eBay lists his zip code as 33192?
  21. It was eBay and it wasn't shipped to the global shipping place. The buyer kept referring to it as his "courier."
  22. Donkey Kong sucks in every way. Zaxxon rocks if you just take it for what it is.
  23. I got Pitfall BITD and thought it was great. I don't think much of it now though. I would agree that their 2600 catalog is overrated. They made some great games though like Beamrider, Enduro, Megamania, Pressure Cooker and Robot Tank which I still play today.
