I don't understand where there's confusion. As of right now he has a list of 14 games. You play any or all 14 games over a specified time period and you earn points per game and whoever has the most overall points wins the tournament.

My only thing is i don't want to "eliminate" people, thus reducing the participants/fun.
Players earn points much like they do in the regular HSC seasons (25 pts for 1st, 20 for 2nd, 17 for 3rd etc) per each game and tally up the total points across all games.
You could also add a poll to your original post so players can vote on what games should be in the tournament. Figure out how many total games should be played.

Been playing DK on the NES for the HSC for the last couple of weeks. Seems to have a better level of difficulty than the arcade. i.e. it isn't insanely difficult but still challenging.

Gave this a few tries this morning and the game glitches out. I think it's the CoolCV emulator. Never had this issue playing on skill 1.

I played this game 3 times using 3 different roms and every time I went to the pit to top off with fuel I went back out on the track with no fuel in the tank. So I don't know what's going on.

The arcade game is fine. There's a way you can adjust the intensity of the vector graphics in MAME. I actually wrote an article about how to do this a long time ago.

It was neat over 12 years ago collecting all the systems and games then it became a pain in the ass storing all that stuff. Sold it all off before Covid. Now I have 10000 games loaded on a Raspberry Pi taking up a small space on my entertainment center. Sitting my fat ass in a recliner 20 feet away from the TV using a wireless controller. Couldn't be happier. Fuck nostalgia.
