  1. Decided to give this another go after losing only one life this time on the first board. Galaxians screen is glitchy in MAME. I would've done a lot better on an actual Gorf cabinet but don't feel like driving an hour and paying $25 at an arcade I don't like going to. 5090
  2. Yes Missile Command on the 2600 and 5200 is a good one. I owned a Missile Command cabinet at one time but I can't say that either is better than the other.
  3. Was just playing this. Won't be submitting a score because I can't see the enemies bullets on the first screen.
  4. Been playing a lot of ColecoVision Galaxian lately. Also like ColecoVision Donkey Kong better than the arcade because it's easier although missing the pie factory. ColecoVision Mario Bros. but I don't have that one anymore unless they want to sell the ROM. Battlezone and Scramble on the 2600 have been getting a lot of play lately too.
  5. Pinfest RIP ReplayFX Used to go to TooManyGames but the only draw for me was the marketplace. Since I sold off all my shit, no sense in going now.
  6. Zero Page Homebrew will plan a live stream to celebrate the anniversary and will subsequently spam every forum on AtariAge with a thread announcing it.
  7. Are there any good arcade style shooters on GBC? Quote this so I get notified of a response...thanks
  8. Get me up to speed on the "Likes" - post a link. Anyone get the latest Accept album with the song "Overnight Sensation"?

Wow.  I had no idea they had anything past "Balls to the Wall".

Listening now, and it's pretty good!  If you like 80's type metal of course.

  9. I've reached day 10 with Covid. Still have symptoms. Looking forward to getting passed this so I can do pinball and beer again.

I was real sick for a week, then extremely tired for the next week. After a month I was just feeling run down, so I made myself get up and going again. All in all it took about 5-6 weeks total. It has been almost 6 months and my smell still has not completely came back. It was a few months before I could smell anything at all. Weird.

I've heard some people say if you get the vaccine the "long haul" symptoms like loss of smell amd fatigue go away. I never got it and I'm vaccinated though so I can't personally attest.

@VectorGamer I'm not a doctor, but as a random internet guy, if you have a doctor, I think it might make sense to touch base with them.  the medical care system isn't overloaded anymore, so it's not a matter of taxing the system, and they may be able to put your symptoms in context.

  10. Sold off my collection a couple of years ago while the hardware was still in working condition. Bought a Raspberry Pi to play all the old games. I would be interested in buying ROMs if they were available but at the same time I'm not going to miss what I haven't got. $10 tops for me.
  11. May 22, 2000. I was a member of half.com and eBay bought it and that's when my account was created. That's why I have "-half" in my username.
  12. Couldn't you use SFTP and Filezilla? That's what I do.
  13. I think any game that provides a distraction to the anxiety would be on the list. Ghosts N Goblins is too difficult for me.
  14. Stopped collecting years ago once I got the Harmony cart. Now I've moved on from console hardware to Retropie. I still play occasionally, but not as much as I used to. I'm more into playing pinball now than video games.
  15. Didn't realize he got banned. I ran the arcade/mame HSC when he put up a crazy score on Reactor and claimed it was his second attempt ever playing the game. It was like 92K. Nobody puts up a score like that not knowing anything about the game. Especially Reactor.
  16. Announced yesterday. They can't stay afloat because of the pandemic. They're selling everything (pinball machines, arcade games, consoles and other assets). It was fun while it lasted. https://replayfoundation.org/2020-announcement/
  17. I bought a Canakit off of Amazon. I would recommend getting a large SD card though - someone told me all I needed was 32-GB and then when I started adding PS1 games I had to buy a larger card and copy everything over. I already had Xbox 360 controllers, so all I needed to add was the receiver for them. When all was said and done, I have like over 10,000 games for under $200. https://www.amazon.com/CanaKit-Raspberry-8GB-Extreme-Kit/dp/B08B6F1FV5/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3BW4BTUX6JMGY&dchild=1&keywords=canakit+raspberry+pi+4&qid=1605800445&sprefix=canakit%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-4
  18. I still enjoy playing the 2600 version of Ms. Pac on my Retropie.
