I'm noticing a few older ones popping up again. I've gotten Link, Samus, Fox, and Falco in the past few days. The Gamestop near me had Mega Man, Sonic, and Pit on the rack, a few of each.

A normal controller is good enough for me to be interested

Going by recent SOLD listings it doesn't appear to be a good price, no.
There's a few recents that were around 200$ but they were CIC. There's the loose hus lot there which also included Bonk and LA2 along with Samurai Ghost, and that went for $117.
But it is a fairly uncommon listing on ebay and doesn't come up often, so it's not TOO ridiculous to try I guess. To me though, it's a completists game (you can buy the PC engine version easily just to play, and the game isn't really great...) so if you're a completist, I think you'd be looking for the case and manual too.
Thanks for the advice. I just had a hard time pinning down what's reasonable. I already have somebody watching it so maybe they'll make an offer before the listing is up

I have a copy of Samurai-Ghost for the Turbografx that I'm looking to sell. However my perusal of places like Ebay shows me that this game seems to barely exist as the only listing I could find for the American version was one CiB for $400. My copy is just the HuCard only so I popped it up there for $200. Is that a fair price? Is the game really that rare?

Coming next Spring. It looks like a friggin Pixar movie. And it's only going to be $40 to boot

My wallet will hate me but I'm going for both lol. My wife LOVES the Lego games so this is her dream come true. There are so many awesome franchises from the Lego but the Infinity original trilogy figures look sweet.

The Order 1886 and loving every moment. It has just about all of my nerd loves rolled up into one game.

There really isn't a game yet that made me say "wow, this is next gen", it's more of the improvements in lighting and overall smoothness that have won me over.

I bought Unity day 1. If it's something I'm interested in I couldn't care less about reviews, I only use them for games that I'm on the fence about.

Reminds me of the reality vest for the Playstation or N64. I remember seeing some ads for a couple different models back in the late 90's in either Gamepro or OPM.

Timmy, why are you covered with bruises? Did you get beat up?
Nah, mom. I was just playing some Turok.

Stop trying to be different, release a console that is comparable to your competitions current consoles (not their last gen ones) so it gets 3rd party games on top of your solid first party, and get some new blood in there i.e. relaxing the Iwata/Miyamoto creative stranglehold. If the U had the 3rd party support/power of the PS4 on top of Mario Kart or SMash, they would effing own the generation.

Sadly, yea. The developer posted on Facebook that they sold out within 24 hours.
Sold out!

As much as I don't have room for things and I embrace digital copies I still look out for some rarities or oddities out there, I picked up a physical copy of Shadow Warrior last week and I found this today (I dont think this is on Amazon or Gamestop like Shadow Warrior is):
Retro City Rampage

Big fan of this game on PC.
I just ordered a copy. It's a limited pressing of only 2000 to boot

Yup. I think Amazon just had the Swap Force starter kit for $18. The Xbox One version to boot.
Nope.
After paying full price ($80) for the first 3 games, either on launch day or shortly after, only to see the same game for sale for about $35 less than a year later, my new strategy for these titles is to wait less than a year and than pick it up on the cheap. This is also around the time the figure are buy one get one free so it really makes getting into the game a lot easier and cheaper. There is no online aspect of this game, so getting the game early when it's popular and there are plenty of people online to hook up with doesn't even enter the equation.

I beat Wolfenstein: The New Order the other day. I bleeping loved it. It was refreshing to play such a visceral FPS that doesn't hold your hand or yell "follow me!" every 2 seconds. The guns were meaty, the set pieces were creative, there was some nice gameplay variety, and the enemies/attention to detail were just insane. Just an awesome tribute/reboot to the series.

As much as we decry violence in America we actually can't get enough of it. We love war, death, and destruction, and indoctrinate our children as early as possible. Thank god there isn't a tit on the shirt, that would be inappropriate.

Personally I'd like Metroid to stay first person but start going in a more sci-fi horror direction. Give me creepy abandoned derelict space ships and the like to explore, and open up the relatively linear worlds a bit.
Zelda and Xenoblade look great. Bayonetta is something I would get too.
Good stuff to look forward to next year. Not a lot, but very good. I should be happy that the Wii U release schedule is limited since I have a huge backlog but it just doesnt feel right when your only seeing so many few games spaced out so much.
Metroid Prime would be fantastic (I was one of those who loved the Prime games as well as the 2D ones)
There is hope:
"So it has been a while since we released the last one and we’re having discussions internally about what we can do next,’ said Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi to Kotaku.
‘So at this point we have two different types of Metroid games. We have the Prime style of Metroid game and we have the more traditional style of Metroid game. We feel that we do need to take care of both of these styles of play. And the hope is that at some point in the near future we’ll be able to share something about them’.
At this point in the interview there’s a bit of back and forth between the interviewer, Takahashi, and Mario creator Shigeru Miymaoto (who has never had anything much to do with Metroid) about which style of game is best.
Miyamoto is the only one that seems to express a preference though, saying: ‘I have the New Super Mario Bros. series [for 2D], so I like Prime. I think there’s still a lot of new things that could be done with the Prime series.’

GamesBeat asked him to clarify what exactly that "future model" meant, and Sebastian added the retailer is thinking about "getting involved at the time of game development where there could be some content exclusive to [the retailer] included in the game."
So if you thought it was stupid that peripheral content like skins and maps was split up between retailers, just wait until GameStop can offer actual parts of a game you can't get anywhere else. Then wait for Walmart and Best Buy and Amazon to catch on. It'll be great.http://kotaku.com/gamestops-preorder-plans-sound-like-bad-news-1601428457

There's also the Duck Tales inspired Shovel Knight that was just released on the eshop and is getting great reviews-

At the very least the Amiibo figures are nice little figurines in their own right if you simply wanted to collect them, plus there's no need to buy a "portal" or any of that nonsense.
Overall I'm still fine with the U and I didn't see anything on the PS4 or X1 that'll have me pulling $400 out of my wallet any time soon.

The Zelda games look awesome and I'm really digging Splatoon. The Bayonetta Collection and sweet NFC figures aren't too shabby either.
Lost in the shuffle is Devil's Third, a U exclusive from the guy behind Ninja Gaiden-

I saw a bunch of Samus, Kirby, Mega Man, Yarn Yoshi, and Fire Emblem characters at another Gamestop yesterday. To my knowledge many of the Smash bros ones weren't reissued so maybe these were sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
I also got the ROB/Game&Watch/Duck Hunt 3 pack on clearance for $19. The same Gamestop also had Rob with Famicom colors which I had never seen before.
