I think I remember a couple years ago there was a big thread where someone found secret writing on some pitfall artwork. Am I crazy, or did this really happen? The thread was huge and there were scans of the code and writing and stuff.
I made this: http://upload.creamedgeezer.com/images/atari-shake.gif
If you guys are into any other Adult Swim stuff (The Brak Show, to be specific), I made the only website dedicated to Brak's Dad.

The installation went incredibly smooth. It took about a half hour to install. It was the first time I ever opened an Atari, so I was a tad nervous at first. But it all worked out perfectly.
Guts of the beast:
Before the install: http://upload.creamedgeezer.com/images/atariguts.jpg
After the install: http://upload.creamedgeezer.com/images/atariguts2.jpg
Everything in the install is nice and clean, and compact. It is just perfect.
Also wanted to mention, that I found a piece of paper taped on the inside of my Atari on the metal box. i think it has the date my system was built. Sept something 1981. Was this a common thing they put inside units?
I got the S-Video mod from Atari2600.com for Christmas, and just got around to installing it today. It is INCREDIBLE! I never imagined such clarity would be possible. Very well done.
Just wanted to brag about my successful installation
Thanks,
Jeff
My first Atari memory is my first video game memory. I was at my grandparents house, and my uncles were in the downstairs family room playing M*A*S*H, and they let me try. I must have been like 3 or 4 at the time, but it stuck with me.
i havea question that is totally unrelated, but what are the chips sitting on top of in this pic: http://www.cpuwiz.com/images/videoout.jpg
Thanks,
Jeff
