  1. i sent the seller the message to 'please make it clear that this is a reproduction'. i'm surprised he actually put it in the description, so some credit there. and whoever bid $100 has since retracted it, thankfully. i was like $100?! obviously someone placed a bid thinking this was the real deal ($100 would be a steal no doubt). not everyone knows who hozer video is and what reproductions are. i thought it was the right thing to do. i'm not against repros of super-rare OLD 2600 games (not homebrews or hacks), but it should be clearly stated what they are. i hope they make it more obvious if they keep auctioning these things off. edit: oh jeez. the auction just ended. literally 5 seconds ago. it was back down to $11.01 until the last 2 seconds and it jumped back up to $102.50!! someone just got hosed. read the desciption you idiot!! that's just not right. shameful really.
  2. i received mine yesterday as well. these are nice! i recommend them for sure.
  3. i've been using Pocket VCS from clickgamer.com (not sure if links are ok or not. just do a search there for vcs, you'll find it). it's a nice freeware app. they have a pocket c64/vic20 and a pocket odyssey program too, but those aren't free. are there any others people can recommend?
  4. i also just sent payment for 30 of them. thanks for making them! i will see how many more i'll need after i try out these first 30.
  5. wow, i just read thru this entire thread. you guys are awesome. at first i wasn't going to try and get beg for a copy (due to recent car repairs), but after reading about all the hard work and dedication that has gone into this project..i want one! if by chance it's possible please add me to the 'willing to wait' list. p.s. - i'm new to atariage (what took me so long to join?), but have been an atari addict since 1978. what a great community you all have here. so many smart people! thanks!
  6. mine would be Qbert's Qubes for the 2600. i found it in the wild for $5 about 4 years ago, seriously. that made my day!
  7. hi all, first post here at atari age. i've been an atari addict since 1978, and have collected off and on since that time. my two cents on this topic: do not leave your atari plugged in all the time. i have had 2 power supplies fail thru the years from being left plugged in. one was the very first ps for our first atari in 1979, the other was lent to my girlfriend's brother in the mid-90's, and even after i asked him to not leave it plugged in he did just that - and sure enough i got back a dead power supply. my understanding is if the unit gets too hot it will trigger a circuit breaker like effect and kill the psu. just my experience - yours may differ, but i figure why take the chance? thanks!
