  1. Was that the initial listing price? I have listed items before and temporarily changed it to a high price to "park" my listing while being away from the house for a weekend.
  2. Has anyone played Zen Pinball on the iPad? If so, how are the touch controls?
  3. I was lucky to find someone put the 360 wheel to the side at my local transfer station so I was able to score one for free. It is in excellent condition.
  4. I know what you mean about wanting to keep spares. I have 3 of them myself. Ditto on the "unknown people messaging me". I get random users wanting a FreeMcBoot installation. It hasn't been too bad so I will continue to do the favor since it doesn't take much time for me.
  5. I never had any trouble with my M3 Perfect SD. Which games did you have issues with?
  6. The other option is for someone to make you a FreeMCBoot memory card. I've done this for a number of people. You would just need to send me your PS2 memory card and pay shipping both ways. Personally, I've used a few USB flash drives and didn't have trouble getting any of them to work.
  7. That's why people should post the ad, not just the link for anything on CL or Ebay.
  8. There were 11 days or so left but it only attracted ~39 backers (I was one of them). I think they got around $1000 of the $80K goal. They ended it early since it didn't seem like it would have a chance.
  9. Sorry for the false alarm. It seems to be working now. It wasn't working the other day but maybe that was my connection. Thanks for providing ftp access.
  10. I donated. So what can be done to get more people aware of it? Posting it on reddit?
  11. Thanks to everyone who donated bandwidth. I was trying to download some of the issues and it seems that all of the links are dead except for the UK one (files.exotica.org.uk). It would be nice to have an ftp link working again.
  12. I did my part and kicked some dough in. I remember playing this game on the PC.
  13. Evox is one of the bioses that come with the Duox mod chip but it's a crap BIOS, especially the built-in ftp server. I highly recommend using XBMC as your dashboard.
  14. If you go over to eurasia.nu, in the download section search for skylander. There's source code for an editor uploaded there. It looks like you could use it to emulate the portal with a bit more work.
  15. I should also mention that using your finger to move the paddle is very natural to do. I've tried playing the breakout games using a joypad or d-pad in the past and it just doesn't work.
  16. I picked it up a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it very much. It's free but you have IAP (In App Purchase) to get additional levels beyond the initial 20 or so levels. I thought it was a good value and lots of fun.
  17. All of the Zelda games allow you to save at any time but you're always starting at some standard location (e.g, beginning of a dungeon) instead of where you were last.
  18. Wow, Zork 2 & Zork 3 auctions both closed around ~$400. Did anyone from this forum win the auctions?
  19. When I was a teenager with an Atari 800 and Percom high density floppy drive, I had one of these "Impossible" devices. Does anyone have any photos of it? For the life of me, I can't remember what it looked like.
  20. I have one but my box is different from the one in your picture. Here's a shot of mine:
  21. I guess I'm confused. My PS3 slim (holiday 2010) has a DS3 that does not look like the one in the thread. It has a convex L2/R2, not concave. Are people modifying their controllers to have concave buttons? Or are they older models?
  22. The GPU fan is what usually makes a lot of racket on the 1.0 xbox. I took mine out and replaced it with a better heat sink. I also replaced the case fan with a quieter one. Now it's super quiet and still runs cool.
  23. I agree with the comments on the XL. I have one and I love it. It comes with Flipnote Studio (my kids like it) and Brain Age games. I love playing Virus Buster (a Dr Mario clone) in Brain Age Math. The large screens are really nice. Can't say it enough about them. I also have a bunch of DSiWare games such as Shantae's Risk Revenge, Dark Void Zero, Box life and a bunch of others. I will get the 3DS one day when it has come down in price and there's an XL version available. Right now, I have a huge backlog on the DS/PSP/Wii/PS3/N64/PS2 that I can't fathom getting another handheld.
