Well, it kind of does. The system increases the brightness of the top screen when the 3D is turned on to compensate for parallax barrier darkening top screen. That, and having to render two frames instead of one could draw more power. But, it doesn't seem to have much an impact on battery life.

Well, I never ran mine completely dead yet (over the 15 hours of playing zelda since monday) when I was done I just set it in its cradle thing when I was done after like an hour and a half here and there and it was just fine. I don't see myself playing it for over 3 hours at a time anyway.

That just what I wanted to hear that's improved on OoT3d. Hopefully, I'll get one someday.

its not the ads, its the way the subs are layed out.

Not as nuts as the aforementioned tri corner hat wearers but the current protestors are pretty off their rockers as well.
