  1. YOU ARE A GOD FOR MAKING THIS CORE. Seriously, it's so good. I get my tempest 2000 fix Just wondering, would the CD addon be too much of a stretch to squeeze into the MiSTer?
  2. Already pre-ordered it all, dang it. Sans 7800 as I have the 2600. lol.
  3. @Ben from Plaion Damn you! I have preordered everything (the 2600+ is the only console I collect for, so I gotta get em all) apart from the 7800 as I have the 2600. In saying that, is the Bentley Bear game included with the 7800 complete in box or just cart? I might change my order if it's complete as that will cover the wireless controller and Bentley Bear game too and I'll have a 7800 for not much more money...
  4. Hello, been away for a bit - has there been any news on which games will be released next?
  5. Yay! EDIT: Actually, that means I won't have the limited special edition anymore. BOOOOO!
  6. I wonder what my two copies are... I ain't gonna open them, haha.
  7. Are they? ROM chips and all? That's cool - I had assumed they were using flash storage of some type, so that's nice to know!
  8. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, fellow PAL folk!!!
  9. Me too and I love the cute little dust covers. Man, I wish Sega would work with Plaion and make a new Master System and Mega Drive. Ahem @Ben from Plaion - do your thing!
  10. Hahaha exactly!
  11. My thoughts exactly. Surely 99% of the purchasers are nerds like us and would be upgrading the firmware anyway. Either way, at least it's just the PAL carts and it was caught early.
  12. Since technically there is nothing wrong with the carts and the console just needs a firmware upgrade could you just let retailers know to add a note to the game sales page? There were games on the Evercade that required newer firmware and it wasn't an issue. Or do you think there will just be too many folk out there not interested in going through an upgrade process? Seems a shame to do a recall when people can just update their systems.
  13. I was never an Atari kid - I had the Fountain Force 2, which is far inferior but I loved it (and I have the full collection of games today). I bought the 2600+ because I wanted to collect again and retro games for my fave old systems are prohibitively expensive. So I'm just collecting the official releases for the 2600+ - easy to keep up with and so far they've been great games. Mr Run and Jump is soooo bloody addictive. I just love plugging carts in and playing Oddly enough, I have grown to appreciate the 2600 games in later life. As a game developer, it amazes me what people can do with this system and those constraints often have led to some incredibly fun games. I'm holding out hope we get some new Activision releases as I'd LOVE a new copy of HERO. Also, both console and accessories are very well made!
  14. Yeah, did it last night. All working great
  15. Also, silver lining - luckily it was caught before the European release - much bigger market than over here. I didn't realise we bottom earthers got it first
