  1. You were right Benzman66! I took a small flat head screwdriver and was able to adjust the coloring so that the trees in Pitfall! were green again. After doing so, all my other games seem to be correctly colored on the console as well. Thanks for your responses guys--this was due to the color potentiometer being off and not a PAL/NTSC compatibility issue. Armand
  2. I'm trying to determine this. I bought the console recently on ebay and it has a white sticker on the bottom that doesn't say PAL or NTSC. I have the case open. Is it possible to tell from inside? It's working with my 9v power adapter on U.S. power. Is it possible to tell if a cartridge is PAL or NTSC? Thanks for bringing this up guys. I had no idea and was getting frustrated trying to google for others with the same problem. much appreciated, bank
  3. Hello, I have a 6-switch atari 2600 that displays colors incorrectly. For example, in Pitfall! trees are pink. Pacman is colored a light blue. I can switch to BW mode and then back to color and still get consistent strange colorings. I'm using a RCA2coax adapter as my RF switch died a while back. Would this cause a color problem? Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions? thanks, bank
